    My tears started falling when YX and YQ had their scene in the park and I had to stop momentarily to compose myself to continue reading again. Is the quote at the end the one with the story of Achilles and his lover Patroclus? I love that novel to death. I was crying like a baby when Ye Xiu collapsed and Ye Qiu caught him and he tried to speak. Damn boi thank you for the great story and angst. :'( X( YX and YQ's relationship is really so much fun to read but in this case it's just really heart breaking and bittersweet. The HanYe scene was sweet and this two's relationship is really interesting either platonic or romantic in any fic. I'm really curious now what will happen to the world of glory after this. YX and SMQ is now together, I wonder what would their first conversation be about? Once again thank you for the excellent story. Wow this is a long comment I want to know how close SMC and YQ will be after this. Okay I'm done.

      All these scenes were just pure feels, but I especially loved that scene, especially since it's the basis for the title of the fic.

      Yeah, YX and YQ's relationship is just qwq. He only appears/is mentioned like....3 times? in the novel iirc, but I have such a soft spot for small characters with the potential for so much depth. Their dynamics really is so much fun lol, when YX is being the trollish older brother and YQ, the easily riled little bro, but yeah, I definitely wanted to expand beyond that since people are rarely so simple.

      Omg HanYe is just QAQ. I love their relationship, platonic or romantic. Their entire history is just impressive and amazing to witness.

      Well, I would imagine that world of Glory will go to shit before it gets better. Not sure if I will follow-up yet, but everything that was going on in private would be under public scrutiny. Everyone would get involved from fans, old friends, pro players, family, Glory Alliance, Glory game company, the court, etc. A lot of things would change.

      It's only a matter of how big the impact of YX's actions and how deep a hole EE can dig themselves.

      YX's and SMQ's first conversation, I want to leave up to imagination :) they have a lot to talk about, after all.

      For sure SMC and YQ will be close, they were each other's closest confidante and knew the most about YX's situation in that entire year and a few months that YX had his illness. What would be complicated is how YQ feels about YX's colleagues and friends since EE would probably make him doubt the integrity of the Glory Alliance as a whole.
