Tbh I read "easy a" and thought how's this bitch gonna turn adapt a high school comedy to hockey? Pretty easily it turns out. The result was definitely a wacky journey of lies, deception, well meaning friends, and hilarious hijinx. Of course such a premise would entail a heavy dose of suspension of disbelief but no matter how unbelievable the events the situation never fails to bring laughs. The fact that many of the movie's original lines were used in the fic was a big bonus, notably, "perhaps you should embroider a red 'A' on your wardrobe you abominable tramp" was hilarity coming out of a hockey player's mouth. Overall a solid fic. 5/5
