    It started out so comfortable & familiar until Bilbo lopped Gollum's head off!!! I was actually shocked... even considering your story's description... Well, I'm glad he did. I don't understand the mercy that Gandalf, Aragorn & the elves showed Gollum. It says very clearly in the book that Gollum ate babies.. stole them right out of their cribs. So Gollum deserved to die... & he should have been put to death long before Frodo met him. Gollum was living a miserable life anyways. I suppose I have the potential to be an evil overlord as well. haha

    Great start... I usually don't like this style of storytelling.. but you make it work. I am very interested to see what happens next... especially what actions Bilbo will take once he becomes lord of Middle Earth...
