    My headcanon is that Robert and Courtney's kid really looks up to Robert and wants to be a hero just like him. Robert though is apprehensive about the idea and doesn't want his son (in my story Rob and Court's firstborn is a boy and their second kid is a girl) to suffer like he did. Courtney though is understanding of Robert's concerns encourages her kids to pursue whatever path they but if they become heroes, they should never fight alone as that nearly got Robert killed more times than he can count.

      Yeah I feel like that would be Robert and Courtney’s only condition if their kid wants to be Mecha Man/Mecha Gal, working on a team. I mean Robert’s entire character arc In dispatch season 1 was not just realizing he has value as Robert, but that being Mecha Man doesn’t mean fighting alone and that he was wrong to think that before. He would probably make sure that they don’t be Mecha man obsessively and shut out everything else in their lives cause that was one of the factors that led to Robert’s downfall in episode 1, he would have eventually lost the suit shroud or not.

      I feel like Visi might also be apprehensive about it to since she saw the suit blow up twice(caused it the first time) and she would probably be scared something like that would happen to her kid. She is already kinda protective of Robert cause he doesn’t have powers, I feel like it would be worse with her kid. Though I do think like Robert she would want her kid choosing their own destiny since she would want a better life for them then she had before Robert.

        In my headcanon, Rob and Court's kids both inherit their mother's invisibility powers. Chase (the son) even says that because he has powers, he should become a hero, otherwise he'd be wasting them. However I do think he would take his father's advice and not try and have being a hero entirely consume his life.

        I didn't consider Visi thinking about the explosions but with that it is probably something she'd be terrified of, like telling them to put an ejection seat into the suit just in case.
