Trying to navigate the social hierarchies in both schools is probably a total headache. On the one hand you've got everyone's placement as students, on the other hand there are the various social classes from different kingdoms/nations, then not everyone is always the standard age for their year, then there's the magical power & prowess factor... MC at least carved out a weird little niche for themselves in NRC where being an outlier was kind of accepted, now they've gotta start almost from scratch again.
