Everyone is really dismissive of Grim, is another thing - more beast tamers means less "this monster is here because he wants to be and is making his own choices" or something, maybe? We did kinda get put in charge of Grim and responsible for his Choices back at NRC too, but really we do not control the Grim! Our track record for keeping him from making bad decisions is about the same as our track record for our other longest friendships! At least back home he'd be treated as an equal in decision making even if it's a very bad idea! It definitely feels like Crowley and other people who've wanted things so far in my playthough have done more negotiating and bargaining with Grim than us 😂😔
Also Ambrose you bought Yuu and Grim's enrollment, this is what you paid for! It's all along the same chaotic road from here xD
Yeah everyone at RSA is generally nicer and gentler, but for Grim that just means they're being sort of condescending and dismissive instead of giving him the chance to prove himself on his own terms. He's being treated like an unruly sidekick, and he and MC are supposed to take turns being the sidekick! Very frustrating for him.
