Comment on Harrison: Heir of Black Blood. The Book of Awakening. TOM 1

  1. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I'm really glad you're enjoying the story and that the Alliance plot has caught your interest.

You're right to assume that some familiar faces (including a certain pink toad) will appear in the next volume. The second book will cover the fifth year at Hogwarts, so Umbridge will definitely play a role – though perhaps not exactly the same role she played in canon.

As for the Death Eaters – yes, Lucius is not a Death Eater in this story. However, as I showed in the last chapters of the first volume, Death Eaters include, for example, Theo's parents, who were expelled from the Alliance, as well as Bellatrix and others. The Death Eaters still exist – some are under Voldemort's control, others were forced to act within his ranks. Their ranks will be filled with other families that will appear in the meantime in the second volume.

The Horcruxes... that's a topic for later. To be honest, I'm not sure yet whether their existence will be common knowledge in this world. I need to think about it carefully.

Harry's magic (Harrison's) is indeed meant to feel overwhelming at times – both a gift and a curse. You picked up on exactly what I was trying to convey.

Lily's background will be explored further – especially the moments when she learns what blood she has and what family she comes from. Her family's story will also be developed further, as well as her own history, though rather as memories from the past.

As for Snape – his situation is complicated. He is loyal neither to Dumbledore nor to the Death Eaters. His loyalty swings between sides.

As for Remus – don't worry. He is safe. I won't make him a Death Eater, nor will he die. He will return and be healthy. He will return to action – though in a slightly different plotline than in canon.

Thank you again for reading and for such a detailed comment. I'm sorry for replying so late – I've been busy with work and with writing the second volume. I hope you'll enjoy the second volume as well.
