    I went into the novel knowing nothing about the fandom or people’s fav pairings tbh and locked onto Saheon as one of my favorite side characters just because of the toxic chemistry he had with Soleum lol.

    The funniest scenes were of Soleum being an absolute menace and bullying Saheon.

    Like, I couldn’t see it being anything but a toxic relationship, but I could SEE it.

    Later I also started shipping Choi/Soleum.

      for me he wasn't a character I would say I particularly looked forward to appearing, but at the same time I understand you because him being tormented really was hilarious every single time fdshfdgk

      I'm someone who doesn't really enjoy romance in general so I don't like 'ship' anybody (although I do read some ship fics anyways sometimes since I don't mind it THAT much and other aspects of the fics more than make up for any smaller preferences), but as far as ships go I honestly can see any of the ones in this fandom that I've come across! I am probably repeating something I said in the notes but I really just love so so many of the characters in this webnovel that I am near-equally interested in all sorts of combinations :DD

        Oh I totally understand!

        I’m ace/aro myself and in some fandoms I literally ship no one, I love the gen fics, but then in others I ship many pairings. I think it just depends on the story direction and writing style and how I view the MC.

        Kim Soleum is very much a “little black dress” of his fandom in that he fits into pretty much any pairing you can think of.

        I agree that pretty much any pairing for him is valid.

        For example I don’t ship Braun/Soleum but I can understand why it’s popular.

          yeah that definitely makes sense!! even though I shy away from romance a little bit more, to a certain degree I absolutely feel the same way too!

          yeah - it's actually definitely unusual for me that I don't really mind a single pairing for him I've seen! usually I end up disliking at least a couple of the big ships in a fandom, but for this one I don't actually mind any of them, they really do all work to at least some degree! I mostly share your opinion on that particular pairing too actually, it's one that I would say I care for less than most, but at the same time I still wouldn't say I 'dislike' it or am going to actively avoid it haha
