Oh this is beautiful, I’m not crying it’s just …. Oh I’m sobbing over all the little references to other ships and rovers and I now want to hug Mary and blip-a like I want to whenever I see the TikTok’s about oppy or carpathia or any of the other space program vessels. I don’t care if I’m anthropomorphising these things, they deserve hugs goddamit. Don’t mind me I’m just dying from feels.
Thank you so much!! I also get very emotional about the other ships and rovers, i got the idea from the thought of Mary launching into space where there have been so many previous expeditions whereas Blip-A finds space empty.
That and also the other ghost ships blessing Mary as she headed out. Particularly Apollo 13, who knows a thing or two about hope in hopeless situations and overcoming the odds.
