Yes, yes, yes, please do a sequel. Great story. It is just a damn shame that some people need to have the truth shoved down their throats before they can even begin to understand where everything went wrong. It all boils down to making the effort to talk and actually listen to what the other person has to say. Not everyone is as smart as you want them to be but neither are they as stupid as you make them out to be.
