Absolutely love this. As much as it would be adorable and sweet for them to have a hug and a happy reunion, that really doesn’t fit them and this is so perfect for them. Obviously Dunk can hang around in the Stormlands more, and maybe it can be more later, but this was just a very fulfilling breaking of the ice after their season ending spat.
Dunk’s hair turning fucking golden in whatever (drunken) recountings Lyonel has given in the intervening time is beyond hilarious. You just know that dumbass has been agonizing over their parting and reliving it while listening to the breakup song of the decade. Poor dumb stag.

I had way too much fun thinking about how their reunion would go, especially once the thought 'oh Lyonel would absolutely be huffy about getting dumped while pretending that he doesn't caaaare ohmygod he's fine' dropped itself into my lap.
