This is one of the best fics I’ve ever read and it is CRIMINAL that it doesn’t have more notes. Their dynamic is so gentle and feels so, so real, both to the characters and to the general feeling of being 18 and on the cusp of everything changing, and the fear (and hope) wrapped up in all that potential. I’m so proud of them both for being brave and taking a chance. PLEASE write the one shots you mentioned in the A/N—this story has made me feel all glowy and warm inside and I need more immediately

The ending of ST made me feel legitimately ill because I remember so clearly that moment for me and that fear of everything soon changing forever. That's what I hoped to capture here!
