    Bravo! Truly, you managed to bring forth the true threats that the "normal" enemies (Dread and Taken) are to... well, "normal" people! Feels almost straight from a Destiny lore tab.

    Can say that I have nothing against this at the moment. The guardian is, as always portrayed as the beacon of hope and strength (possibly the only one that has the ability to switch abilities this quickly, but that's besides the point!)

    Then again, you really set up the whole story (ofc the story can't go "straightforward", both Guardians and paracausal beings do tend to "make their own fate" ;). ) Still, getting excited on both subplot and main plot if this! (Especially with a subjugator, and by proxy the Dread, taking interest/going to experiment with the Hollow and the Ethereals)

      Though, I can't shake the feeling that, knowing how both the Taken and Dread work, they'd easily find a way out of the Hollow 🤔 (Yes, even if they can't corrupt the place, having as examples Vex structures that go beyond time and space, the Taken, and Dread too, have a knack at breaking in and out of impossible places)

        Thx bro, glad you've enjoyed so far. To answer a few questions.

        The abilities of Guardians are a lot more flexible in the lore, and considering how Prismatic works on top of that and the fixed nature of Agents. It just felt right to have the Guardian of course undo that and switch as needed. They're are of course advantages to each defined subclass though, both in and out of combat. As usual Guardians will adapt to what the situation requires.

        As for the Taken it's definetly one of the more interesting things I've been puzzling out in the story.

        The Hollows being spaces of distorted space-time are supposed to be both threatening, and capable of unrealized potential. If they're too weak on a disruptive level not only do they get reduced to a mere annoyance it would also be way too easy for a Taken Invasion, or arguably worst a Vex Infestion to break through and doom all of New Eridu before I finish writing this comment.

        Don't get me wrong though! They certainly still can Corrupt and get Out of the Hollow though. Especially if left unchecked and to their own devices. It's just going to be a bit challenging to do so.

        Finally the Dread taking interest in the Hollow and the Ethereals. It's definetly a concerning development. The mad science never ends does it.
