    You’re not wrong, as meridians are partially like the electric system of your nerves, but also like the physical organs of your veins.

    Your golden core is located in the lower dantian, behind your navel. This is the ONLY place that the golden core is formed, I don’t care what other fanfic authors write, I’ve read the actual Dàoism-Qigong tracts, I know what I’m talking about.

    Think of the meridians as an electrical grid across the body, but holds qi. Qi is life energy, life force. It is not the soul. That’s something else entirely.

    The golden core and qi start out as something invisible and intangible, but as you cultivate qi, the golden core forms. Now, in the real world, it’s still not a visible organ to be seen, neither are meridians in the same sense as our veins. But! Meridians have been proven to connect to pressure points; it’s how acupuncture works!
