“There's no way to return to the future without risking someone dying.”
“I'm afraid that's the case.”
“So, it is very likely that I won't survive this quest.”
The goddess nodded, and Jason couldn't even say he was surprised. At least he finally understood why the gods had brought him back to life.
He had to be useful one last time.
Recently resurrected, Jason didn't expect to be dragged into the past, nor to have to solve the mysteries related to his past life, and stop the premature return of Kronos.
Above all, he didn't expect Lan Wangji. -

He remained impassive.
“And?”
“And…well…something…a small part…we might have missed…”
The man suddenly caught fire, screaming in pain. None of those present moved a muscle, their eyes wide open at what was happening. In a short time, the man's body fell forward, and the flames devoured his flesh until he was reduced to a pile of blackened bones.
“Thank you for warning me so quickly,” he said, his tone cold, in contrast to what he had just done. “Now, where were we? Ah, yes…why wasn't I notified before?”
