Captain Shane Hollander of the Inheritor, a top-three ship in the Stewardship Fleet, on a spotless record, with a name his family has spent generations protecting. One recordable mistake would end all of it.
Captain Ilya Rozanov of the Beglets has never wanted any stranger twice. He wants it all, he always gets it. His ship is part of the Iskra Free Combine - former rebels turned loosely organized corp, with loose morals to match, as far as the Stewardship is concerned.
They meet on Aurelium Station, the planet-sized neutral hub where two rival corps maintain a peace nobody quite believes in. A handshake on a public concourse. A door that seals behind them on a relay station. A captain saying the other captain's given name into his mouth.
For Shane, every encounter is a small political suicide. For Ilya, every encounter is an internal restructuring he has not asked for. Both corps depend on the corridor. The corridor depends on the equilibrium. And beneath Aurelium's gold-pigmented hull older things are buried than either captain has been taught to look for.

The fright-zone was a dark, musty, and usually awful place to live if you liked sunshine and rainbows, and yet? Scorpia never seemed to have a doubt in her tender spirit about how she loved life. She was so kind and thoughtful, a caring mother if maybe one day, and she always saw the best in people. It had it’s advantages.
Entrapta tended to enjoy the little things in life. Literally. Tiny food, tiny tools, and tiny robots! So when people found out she enjoyed Scorpia’s company and the way her big personality fit into Entrapta’s own space? You could say it was a bit of a shock, but they seemed to just mesh very well, so people let it be.
An example of them meshing well and being cute? A day like today.

Summary
Peter Hart, a 26-year-old notorious pirate captain of the Golden Phoenix Gang, sails the high seas under the alias, “Peter The Golden.” Inheriting the ship and shipmates from his late father Captain Johnathan Hart, Peter wishes to do right by his crew of father figures, and to uphold John’s legendary legacy.
Along his route, mapped out courtesy of Davey (First Mate, Navigator and Quartermaster), Peter pays a visit to his homestead of Port Mayor; a rich harbor town run by a sovereign duke, Matthias Bartholomew. While he catches up with his mother Mary Hart, Peter finds out that the duke’s 21-year-old son, one of Peter’s childhood bullies Prince Benjamin, is having an engagement ball in Port Mayor’s castle.
Hatching a plan to pilfer wealth and heirlooms while festivities take place, Peter makes his way over to the Bartholomew Castle and enters through Benjamin’s bedroom window. What he doesn’t expect to see, however, is the man of the hour sneaking away from the party for a moment of respite, only to catch Peter the Golden in the act of stealing valuables from his room. Before Benjamin could protest, Captain Hart abducts him back to his pirate ship, and both embark on an epic and episodic pirate adventure.
