heejay
most of it are pieces of literature worth a perfect adoration (or i’d go as far as worshipful idc) just how beautifully a mess of 씅젱 subtleties were represented.
ppl (me) got so attached to heeseung’s ride-or-díe and jongseong life’s turning point the same way they literally hold a precious place in one (my) heart.

Summary
Summer’s coming to an end, the sweetness of it dissolving in Jongseong’s mouth day after day, hour after hour. Summer’s coming to an end —like it always does— and he can’t seem to grab the edges of it and stretch it for a little bit longer. It’s crawling right out of his hands, out of his mouth.
(Or, Heeseung's last summer before college.)

Summary
Jongseong leaned over, seventeen, timid and brave. “Can I tell you a secret, hyung?”
You don’t want to do that, Heeseung thought, bracing himself. Instead, he said, “What is it?”
Jongseong’s eyes shined with hope. Hope had never looked so pure. “I don’t think I can love anyone else the way I love you.”
(For as relentlessly honest as Jongseong is, Heeseung realizes that, now, this might be the only lie Jongseong’s ever told him.)

Summary
“Who did you kill?” he murmurs distractedly. “It wasn’t anyone I liked, was it?”
“How can you still joke around at a time like this?” Jay cries, throwing his hands into the air as he paces back and forth. His voice is raw, his face pale and splotchy. “This is the part where you either grab a shovel or turn me in.”
Heeseung stares at him, a bit wide-eyed, a bit dazed by the boy’s presence after months of nothing but radio silence. “I missed you,” he blurts.
Six months after disappearing from Heeseung's life without a trace, Jay comes knocking on his door to cash in a favor: someone is dead, and he needs help hiding the body. Heeseung agrees a bit too readily, because -- well, he's still in love.

Summary
He reaches forward with a shaking hand, clutching Jongseong’s sleeve. The living room is alive with the sounds of all of their friends screaming and laughing. There is life in the house— life that makes a house a home— and yet Heeseung is still lonely.
It swallows him up. Wanting and longing and yearning, all blending together into the same thing. Synonyms for one another that don’t contrast. Doubt and fear and confusion.
Jongseong wraps his arms around him and sighs into his ear. “I’m right here, Hyung. You can relax now.”
Heeseung’s never been any good with words, and sometimes it kills him.

Summary
"We all have something we want, Jay."
"I want you dead."
"There's always suffering before a death. Can you take it?"The one where the world as Jay knows it, is in a crisis. The world is overrun with ferals, mindless, notorious beings that stalk the cities and crawl into small villages. They're a threat, a large one at that, and Jay---Well, Jay doesn't give a shit. One would reckon that he should. That he's human and as un-presented as he is on top of that, there were many reasons to be worried.
Thing is, no one's ever given him a reason to be worried. He's him. That is, until he reaches the Academy, an infamous school known for graduating full packs: werewolves, vampires, magics---whatever, all in the efforts of depleting the feral population. They want hunters, trained killers, and Jay plans on coming out as just that. Alone; A pack all in himself.
In hindsight, maybe this is truly where he should've started to worry.
