Summary
Alicent Hightower, The Queen In Chains, stuck atop a high tower alone, after the deaths of her children during the Dance Of The Dragons, awakens in the past.
On the day King Viserys declares his intentions to marry the Lady Alicent Hightower, she envisions the cataclysmic war between her childhood companion, and her son. Facing this future, she decides to act.
Regardless of her past friendship, her children’s lives are at stake due to Rhaenyra’s reckless actions, so she prepares to stop the war before it begins and place Aegon as heir, as Viserys should have done.

Summary
Alicent Hightower dies after all of her children. The next day she wakes up in the past on the day King Viserys announces his desire to marry her. Knowing that she will lose her children again she has to change herself and those around her. She has to become a better mother and she has to fight for her kids. Rhaenyra's friendship can't get in the way of that and neither can her father.

Orwyle read the words aloud, his voice steady despite the grimness of the message: "Tell Aegon the Usurper that I shall have my throne, or I will have his head. Praying to the gods, old and new, to release him from his suffering, Aegon is sent back to the morning of his coronation. He is still weak, he still does not know how to rule. But he has one weapon: information. And with information, comes power. He now knows how to learn.
Being burned and usurped by his brother has left him with no love or patience to spare, for anyone. Everyone he thought he could trust betrayed him, and so he will pay their cruelty twice in turn.

Copium to do Aegon justice after the season 2 finale. Merciless Aegon who slowly grows into a powerhouse of a King, and Helaena into a proper queen. Team Black is treated with due respect. Don't think the war will be easy for Aegon at all just because he was sent back in time (after S2E6).
