Summary
It's been long enough now that you can force your mind into the appropriate shapes. Everything about your friend is sweet. It gives you presents - who does that in this day and age? No one. Because you are alone and will never find another living soul. Isn't that cute?
It protects you, you think, murdering anything that poses a threat. The pigs, the rabbits, the skeletons, the birds that used to wake you gently in the morning.
It lingers too long at your back, stares too closely when you bathe, it tests the durability of your armour, leaving it damaged. It sets fire to your base when you leave it alone.
It wants something. So, you'll give it a gift.
