Sebastian hasn't found his soulmate yet, and not for lack of trying. And he definitely isn't wondering whether he should take the risk and ask his teammate if there was a chance that they are soulmates, or if that would just make Mark hate him more.
Finding your soulmate isn't supposed to be easy, with only the injuries and pain your soulmate receives being the clues, and a broken leg is a pretty big hint all things considered.
However, what is easy is ending up in the middle of multiple revelations about who other people's soulmates are (for good and for bad) and how finding his own might be a bit more of a process than he thought.

“Jesus fucking christ, Mark” Jensons voice pitches high as he yanks the collar of Sebastian’s faded sweatshirt aside to reveal a palm sized smudge of rich magenta clinging to the almost pearlescent skin at the junction of his neck and shoulder. “Attempting to eat your teammate is definitely an inventive way of trying to kill him, I’ll give you that”
Sebastian is frozen solid, his boxed dinner forgotten as his entire body winds tight with tension — like a bow string being pulled back.
Mark doesn’t even look up from his plate. “If I wanted him dead, he’d be dead”

Summary
Seb’s infuriating, really. He’s moody, he’s hyperactive, and he’s much too skilled at racing for his own good. He’s a prodigy, and he’s stealing all of Mark’s dreams, and Mark hates him for it. But here he is, in all his golden-boy glory, needy and easy. In fact, Mark thinks this is a golden opportunity to show Seb who really has the power between them.
