Summary
McGonagall glared at the Minho. "Double detention, Mr Park." That's what I thought.
She turned her back to the boys and strolled up to the desk. "We will be practising how to do the Vanishing Spell. Take out your wands, please." I took a peek and noticed the girl had closed her textbook, sticking gold-foil bookmark in place. A name was written in perfect (of course...) calligraphy on the cover, though it was partially blocked by the tassel of the bookmark. Typical rich pureblood Slytherin, I thought, eying her Slytherin tie and necklace (family heirloom, perhaps? Whatever it was, it certainly looked expensive...)
There was a rustle as the students of Gryffindor and Slytherin opened their satchels and took out our wands. Such a shame we shared transfiguration with the Slytherins, too. Transfiguration was always my favourite class and McGonagall was a brilliant teacher and all, but the Slytherins made it unbearable. I could just hear their taunts of "Mudblood!" and "Filthy half breed!". Most of the Slytherins were pureblood maniacs, as Minho shamelessly said.

Harry wondered again why his mommy and daddy didn’t want him to go near the land. The land was so pretty! The vegetation there was very different from under the sea. There were flowers there which blew with the wind, tall trees which seemed to touch the very heavens itself.
Then, there were the land dwellers. Harry was fascinated with them.
Harry’s gaze met the tall, dark haired man’s and Harry felt himself flush for some reason. The heat rising in his cheeks had nothing whatsoever to do with the sun but the beautiful man looking at him as if he was the most enchanting thing on the Earth itself.

"It's okay, Sleeping Beauty," Minho teased him, berating himself as soon as the words came out of his mouth.
He was going to find out, wasn't he?...No. Thomas' composure cracked a little, and he beamed. An ignition of scents splattered Minho's sensations, the most distinguished ones being happiness, calm, and another sweeter scent that Minho couldn't place. Who needs oxygen?
"Thanks," Thomas said, giving a tired but sweet smile. "I'm not as pretty as Sleeping Beauty, though."
You're prettier, Minho's brain was prompting, but what came out of Minho's mouth was: "You're one ugly shank, indeed."
Thomas didn't seem to take offence to that, though his smile dimmed slightly. "Thanks," he repeated.

Summary
Thomas has had many great ideas.
This not being one of them.
Yes, he thought it was a reasonable response; to protect his mother and sister and to escape reality all at once.
And yes, he had to admit, it was nice to be known as something more than a breeding machine and a high-class servant.
However, going to war with a bunch of Alphas was not one of his better ideas.
