Most works I put here are complete, but the series aren’t, so don’t put incomplete things out of the running quite yet.

Don’t worry, Yamada-sensei made plenty of open spots, so you won’t be at risk of kicking anyone out. Well, anyway, consider this my declaration of war. “Come on, kid, I’ll buy,” he said, jerking his head in the direction of the coffee shop below.
Grey Hat studied him with those tired, tired eyes, then looked down at his pile of coins — consisting mostly of smaller yen coins that wouldn’t get him far, anyway. The boy didn’t look like he’d lost any weight, but those eyes looked hollow in the sense that Grey Hat looked like he’d lost something emotionally, something he couldn’t get back, and Shouta was sure he was right. He was just sure that the kid had been abandoned.
He was sure Hizashi could be convinced to take on another kid. Hizashi was a bleeding heart after all... It was one of the reasons why Shouta loved him so.
Grey Hat pocketed the coins and stood up, and when he speaks, his voice sounds familiar, but more importantly, the kid sounds tired, in every way possible. “Fine.”
