With Cas dead, Jack gone, and Dean unraveling, Sam turns to therapy. Searching for closure, he digs into the bunker’s surveillance footage—but what he finds shakes his trust in Dean’s account of Cas’s death… and in Dean himself.
Desperate for normalcy, Sam gets them back on the road, only for their case to take a deadly turn when Chuck returns with a chilling revelation: the universe has trapped them in a Final Destination-style game of fate. As Sam struggles to hold Dean together, he clings to the hope that reuniting their family will set things right. Maybe then... they won’t even need therapy.

He cares for Daryl, not because he must, but because it feels right when so much in their world is wrong. He wants to follow Daryl through pain and anger and confusion just for the chance to reach something beyond that, something like comfort and happiness and love.
