Chapter Text

In a dimly lit room adorned with posters of 90s and 2000s pop stars, the Backstreet Boys gathered around a table, their faces illuminated by a single flickering bulb. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation as Nick Carter spoke up, his voice laced with excitement.
Nick: Guys, Halloween's around the corner, and I've got an idea to make it unforgettable.
Howie: Do tell.
AJ: This better not be another haunted house prank.
Nick: Oh, it's way better. I was thinking, what if we pay a little... visit to our friends at NSYNC?
Brian: You mean, like, a surprise party?
Kevin: Not quite. More like a... surprise encounter. *smirks*
Nick spreaded out a map of the city on the table, marking locations of other pop stars.
Nick: We'll start with the Spice Girls. They're having a photoshoot at that old mansion. Perfect setting for a little... Halloween surprise.
Cue Music: "MacArthur Park" starts playing in the background.
Howie: Anyone else we might, you know, run into?
Nick: Well, there's always the possibility of bumping into other stars. Could get tricky, but we'll handle it.
Howie: What about security?
AJ: Leave that to me. I’ve got connections.
Kevin: Let's not forget the fans. We need to make sure nobody gets suspicious.
Brian: MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down.
Kevin: Someone left the cake out in the rain.
Howie: singing along "I don't think I could take it..."
AJ: 'Cause it took so long to bake it...
Nick: *perfect Donna Summer scream* and l'll never find the recipe againnnn- Oh Noooooooooo-

Spice Girls' Mansion
The old mansion, perfect for a haunted photoshoot, stood silent and foreboding. The Spice Girls, unsuspecting, posed for pictures, unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows. The haunting remix of "Wannabe" played as the Backstreet Boys blended in, their every move calculated.
Nick: Next stop, the Spice Girls.
Howie: They won't know what hit them.
One by one, the Spice Girls fell into the eerie trap, their screams echoing through the mansion.
Emma: What is happening?! Who are you?
Nick: Just some old friends... here to spice up your night.
Mel B: You won't get away with this!
AJ: Oh, but we already have.
The Backstreet Boys used various props from the photoshoot—ropes, chains, and even the camera equipment—to create a series of gruesome scenes. Each Spice Girl met a unique, horrifying end, their screams echoing through the mansion.
Geri: No, please! Not like this!
Nick: It's all part of the show, darling.
The scene ended with eerie laughter and the haunting notes of "Wannabe" fading away.

98 Degrees Studio
A recording studio downtown was alive with the sounds of music, but the air soon grew cold and heavy. The distorted version of "Because of You" played as the Backstreet Boys moved in, their presence unnoticed until it was too late.
AJ: Perfect spot for an ambush.
Brian: This is going too well.
Nick: Let’s make it feel like home for them. Nick adjusts the thermostat to 98 degrees exactly, smirking as the temperature rises.
The studio became a scene of horror as 98 Degrees was taken by surprise.
N Lachey: Who's there? Show yourselves!
Kevin: We're just here to make your night a bit... more exciting.
The haunting melody of "Because of You" echoed as 98 Degrees tried to fend off the unexpected attack. The heat became unbearable, adding to the terror as the Backstreet Boys closed in, using the studio equipment to create a series of deadly traps.
Drew: It's so hot... I can't breathe...
AJ: That's the idea.

H.O.T.'s Underground Club
In an underground club, H.O.T. was performing a high-energy show. A haunting remix of their hits filled the air as the Backstreet Boys executed their dark plan, blending seamlessly into the crowd.
Nick: We can't forget about H.O.T. They're performing at that underground club next week.
Howie: Perfect. We'll catch them when they're least expecting it.
AJ: Another boy band, another ambush. We're really covering all bases here.
Brian: International victims. This will be legendary.
Kevin: Absolutely. We'll strike fear across genres and borders.
Kangta (H.O.T.): Who are these guys?
Nick: Just your biggest fans...
Jang Woo-hyuk (H.O.T.): What do you want?
AJ: Just a little... autograph.
The Backstreet Boys moved through the crowd, their presence felt but not seen, until it was too late. They used the club's dark, labyrinthine layout to their advantage, picking off H.O.T. members one by one. The club's strobe lights and fog machines added to the chaos, creating a disorienting and terrifying atmosphere.
Tony An (H.O.T.): It's a nightmare...
Nick: Exactly.

Britney's Mall Appearance.
Britney's late-night mall appearance was supposed to be a normal event, but the echoing horror mix of "Toxic" set the stage for a darker twist. The Backstreet Boys closed in, their eyes locked on their target.
Nick: Last stop, Britney.
Kevin: This will be legendary.
Britney's performance took a dark turn as the boys closed in, her screams blending with the haunting music.
Britney: What do you want?!
Nick: Just a little... encore.
The Backstreet Boys used the mall's various stores and displays to create a series of deadly traps. Britney tried to escape, but the boys were relentless, using the mall's layout to their advantage. The scene ended with Britney's final, desperate scream echoing through the empty mall.

The Final Plan.
Back at their hideout, the Backstreet Boys were in high spirits. The night had been a chilling success so far, but the grand finale was yet to come.
Brian: You keep sayin' you've got somethin' for me-
Kevin: Somethin' you call love but confess.
AJ: You've been a'messin' where you shouldn't 've been a'messin'-
Nick: And now someone else is getting all your best
These boots are made for walkin'
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you-
Nick spread out a new map of the city, this one with NSYNC's rehearsal space prominently marked.
Nick: Alright, it's time for the grand finale. NSYNC is rehearsing at their studio tonight.
Howie: This is it. The big one.
AJ: We need to make sure everything is perfect.
Brian: Costumes, props, everything.
Kevin: And the music. We need the perfect song for the final act.
As the strains of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" began to play softly in the background, Nick's eyes took on a sinister glint.
Nick: One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you...

Showdown with NSYNC
The Backstreet Boys moved silently through the dark streets, the tension growing with every step. The eerie remix of "Backstreet's Back" played in their minds, setting the tone for their final act. They reached NSYNC's rehearsal space, the building eerily silent.
Nick: It's time.
They slipped inside, their presence unnoticed as NSYNC finished up their rehearsal. The haunting melody of their own songs echoed in the air, creating an unsettling atmosphere.
Howie: Let's finish this.
AJ: One last dance, boys.
The tension built to a crescendo as the Backstreet Boys closed in on their unsuspecting rivals. The final showdown played out like a twisted dance number, complete with eerie harmonies and dark choreography. NSYNC was caught off guard, their horror palpable as the Backstreet Boys' sinister plan reached its peak.
Justin Timberlake: What are you guys doing here?
Nick: Just thought we'd drop by... for a little encore.
JC Chasez: This isn't funny, guys.
AJ: Oh, it's not meant to be.
As the chilling notes of the remix played, the Backstreet Boys launched into their dark choreography, each move calculated to strike fear. NSYNC tried to defend themselves, but the Backstreet Boys were relentless.
Brian: Blood, blood! They laugh maniacally, the sound echoing through the dark, empty space.
Lance Bass: Stop this madness!
Kevin: It's too late for that.
With a chilling final note, Nick stepped forward, his voice dripping with malevolence.
Nick: One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you...
The scene ended with a haunting silence. The bodies of NSYNC members lay motionless, a grim testament to the night’s horrors.
The Backstreet Boys' Halloween night had turned into an unforgettable, spine-tingling experience, blending nostalgia with horror in a way that would be remembered forever. As the final note of their twisted symphony echoed through the air, the boys took a moment to savor their macabre victory.
AJ: Smile for the camera, boys.
Nick: One for the memories.
They pulled out a camera and gathered around, grinning wickedly as they snapped a selfie amidst the chaos. The photo captured their sinister triumph, a chilling reminder of the night when the Backstreet Boys took Halloween to a whole new level.
The curtain falls, the haunting image lingering in the day.
