Chapter 1: The night of their lives

Chapter Text

In the loud, bustling city of Los Angeles, there was a small, quaint flower shop that sold the most beautiful floral arrangements for any occasion. Whether they be for weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, or even for funerals they had them for any and all occasions.

Inside the shop, up in the office, a middle-aged woman sighed as she stood in front of all her employees. There were only a handful of people.

Two of which were her own children.

“Alright, guys, I know that business has been a little slow lately, and I know that you all must be frustrated. But I have good news.”

“You're finally firing Adam?” Her third employee, Peter, positively said. His employer sighed at him. “No Peter, I'm not firing my son.”

“Ma'am, I mean no offense, but it's because of him that the business has taken a nosedive in the first place.” He said sternly, glaring at the young man in question, who didn't even bother to look up from his phone. He did, however, give him the middle finger, which further aggravated the other man.

“Hey, now that is enough, Peter. Adam hasn't done a single thing wrong since he came here, and I will stand on that.”

“......Ma'am, it is because of him that we lost that special client, all because Adam gave us the wrong address!” He was referring to the time that they got a call to have flowers prepared for a wedding for this up-and-coming celebrity couple, and they could have had a connection had they actually managed to arrive at the venue. Because someone had told them to go on Cherry Road when the venue was on Cherry Lane.

To say that the fallout had been a disaster would be an understatement of the century.

Not only had they lost the clients, but they also had to do an entire refund as the couple had pre-paid. They lost any connection that could help the shop. As well as others being warned by the couple to, and quote, "Not visit the shop unless you wish to be utterly heartbroken and filled with despair." On the online review page.

When reminded of this incident Adam rolled his eyes and said, “oh, sit on a dick, Peter.”

Peter flushed, he wasn't used to using profane language himself and normally didn't.

Adam on the other hand used it like commas. “You sit! On a..... Erm... Do your job!”

“Now Peter Adam is a valuable asset to our team and he is family. And we don't turn our backs on family.” The head florist said in defense of her son.

Adam actually softened and looked up from his phone at his mom giving a small smile. He was lucky to have a mom who loved him so much.

Peter crossed his arms. “Well I'm sorry ma'am, but losing that couple as a client really hurt our profits.”

Sera tried not to sigh again. “I know. And it was unfortunate that it happened but they aren't the only ones in the world with money burning in their pockets. Emily dear, how is advertising going?” She asked her daughter, hoping for some positive news.

Emily smiled and held up her phone. “I've been promoting the store on social media and our website has been getting more views. All we need is for some high profile client to take a positive interest and we should be okay.”

Sera grinned. “Luckily for us I'm actually going to go scouting for one this evening.” Emily blinked at her in confusion. “What do you mean?”

“I mean there is a party for a bunch of elites and I’m sure one of them would be interested in our business. Especially after they see my flower crown.”

Emily’s eyes sparkled intriguely. “Oooh! Kind of like fusing fashion with nature!”

“Exactly Emily.”

Peter hummed. “Well it better be a good one, in fact the best of the best that you’re using for it.”

“Don’t worry it will, anyway that’s all the time we have for the meeting. I’ll meet back with everyone tomorrow but for now you’re all dismissed.”

Everyone got up and headed out to close the shop. Adam followed but had his ear buds in and not really paying attention to the rest.

Sera let out a shaky breath she was holding in when they left. She prayed to the almighty that things went well tonight.

Adam actually thought the party wasn't that bad. Even though the music was closer to pop than rock it still had a good beat to it.

Now if his mother didn't look like a walking flower that would be great.

Sera was smiling brightly, her flower crown was huge and he honestly doesn't know how she made it look like a fusion of a real crown and flowers. We're those real roses? She also wore a dress that looked like it was made of roses. Now those HAD to be fake.

Adam groaned, he loved his mother but he really wished that sometimes she didn't have to be so extra and over the top.

“Okay guys! Remember, have fun and make connections!” The dark skinned flower queen told them all joyfully.

Adam nodded at his mother lacklusterly. “Yeah... I'm going over there.” Away from her. He walked away and sighed as he looked down at his phone, not looking where he was going he bumped into someone.

“Hey! What-......” Adam’s words fell from his lips the moment his eyes landed on the man in front of him.

He was wearing a white suit that matched the creamy skin of his, his piercing blue eyes reminded Adam of a cloudless sunny day, and his hair the color of pure gold.

He was so, so, so handsome….

“Sorry! Are you okay?” The stranger asked him in a concerned manner. Adam melted like an ice cream cone left out in the sun from his voice alone. “Y-yeah.~”

The stranger let out a sigh of relief. “Thank God, sorry again.” Adam shook his head at him. “No! My fault, definitely my fault.” This angel was pure and guiltless of any wrong doing.~

“Okay, how about this? It was both our faults and we move on from this moment.” The blond angel suggested softly. To which Adam agreed wholeheartedly. “Totally sounds like a good idea, you’re a good idea!”

Dear God Adam, stop talking!

Lucifer chuckled at him. “Hehe thanks, I am a bit of an idea person but my name is Lucifer, Lucifer Morgenstern.” He stretched his hand out to him and Adam gulped as he took it. “A, Adam Kadmon.”

Why was he stuttering!? He never stutters and it just had to be in front of what was probably the hottest guy he has ever seen.

“Well, it's very nice to meet you Adam. You liking the party?” Lucifer asked him out of politeness.

“Y-yeah, well I just got here.”

Lucifer waved a hand. “Yeah, well this isn't much, it's on the lower key side. Say, if you really want to have a good time at a party my girlfriend Eve throws the best around.

Girlfriend.”

It was like a punch to the fucking gut for Adam. “Yeah that sounds great......” Of course he wasn’t single, why him…?

“Lucifer!”

The pale blond perked up and glanced towards a much larger man who waved him over. Lucifer sighed. “Sorry that’s my brother, I gotta go.”

He pulled out a pen and wrote it down on a napkin before handing it to Adam who saw that it was his phone number. “If you’re ever looking for a fun time you know where to start looking.”

He then left without another word and Adam was standing there flushed as a pink rose and flustered as a school girl. He couldn’t believe this just happened to him. He met the hottest guy in the world only to find out he has a girlfriend but was able to grab his number?

It all made zero sense to him.

But he could always use more friends outside of Emily and Peter.

Well, Adam wasn't sure if Peter was a friend. More like an annoying little twink that was forced to work with him. Yeah, that made more sense.

Speaking of Peter and his mother..... Where were they?

Laughter was heard throughout the night as two women sat at a bar conversing with one another.

Sera’s chortles died down a bit as she spoke up to the woman beside her. “And then you’re not going to believe what happened next.”  The lady that sat close to her leaned more as she clasped her hands underneath her chin. “Oooh! Do tell~”

This woman was not only one of great power in this city but also of great beauty with her soft golden curls and rosie cheeks that complimented her fair skin. Her reddish, pink eyes reminding the florist of roses in blood the first time she looked into them

Sera’s smile had a glow to it as she continued with her story. “They were so close to the fireworks that they got caught and ended up exploding into a fiery rain of flowers as they hurled towards everyone.”

The other woman threw her head back and laughed so hard tears fell down her face. “Oh my how utterly dreadful!”

“Yes, but we eventually had a good laugh about it.”

“Obviously since it made me laugh.”

Sera grinned. “Good, you have such a lovely laugh.” The socialite that she was speaking to blushed, but smiled as she turned to stare directly in her eyes. Sera gulped, there was a look in them that could only be described as one thing.

Hunger

Rosie suddenly stood from her seat and said to the other, “follow me.” She took Sera by the hand and led her to a more…desolate area.

Sera gasped as she was thrown towards the wall and kissed so roughly. But she moaned as she found herself enjoying it. Rosie’s hands were roaming her body and loving what she could grab. She lowered her dress until it was on the ground. She took a break from kissing her lips to stare at Sera’s heaving bosom.

“Woah, where have you been hiding these beauties?” She said to her, almost impressively. Sera blushed as she tried to cover up but Rosie didn’t let her. “No need to be ashamed darling, they are quite the sight. What size are you?”

Sera swallowed. “T, Triple E.” It wasn’t often she discussed her bust size with others. Especially not one that she had just met. But luckily enough she somehow felt comfortable to do so with the socialite.

Rosie licked her lips, clearly impressed. In one swift motion she un-clasped her bra and allowed her mouth to rest on a nipple. Sera was lost to the pleasure once they were both fully nude, their bodies intertwined and lower halves desperate for release as the pleasure mounted.

Rosie's expert hands and tongue roamed Sera's chest and neck, the florist was nothing more than a puddle of ecstasy. While Rosie's breasts weren't huge like Sera's, they were perky and still begged for attention.

It felt like they were at it for hours and they probably were.

Sera was beyond spent, her head nestled securely on Rosie's chest as the socialite smoked one of her fancy cigarettes. “Oh darling, we'll definitely have to do that again."

Sera nodded in agreement. “Of course…….maybe you can even visit my shop?” Rosie let out a tiny chuckle. “Darling if the flowers in there are just as exquisite as the ones you wore then I will be sure to visit it every chance I get. I might even buy a few bouquets.”
