It was only supposed to be a small undercover operation in one of the biggest counties in the state. A postal worker undercover to find the creator of the next virus and bring him in. That's it. He never imagined finding someone suffering more than he is.
She was supposed to be living the perfect life with her boyfriend and starting a new chapter in their story, then everything changed. Now forced to start this life-changing reality alone and overcome new obstacles, she wonders how she's supposed to do all of this.

I'm a fresh daisy to this fandom, and for some reason, I thought of doing a semi-AU story because those damn Leon TikTok edits have me unhinged, so that's what I'm rolling with. If things aren't right or completely unlike what the games/shows/comics have depicted, I'm sorry. Also, I know Leon is an enigma of emotions. I can't guarantee that I'll get it right, but I'm trying my best. I love the hurt/comfort trope, and overdo it in everything I write, so that may be a thing that differs in the way Leon is written. I'm open to criticism and comments to help me understand the fandom better.

Chapter 1: Character Introduction

Before you read on, please know that I am not the most knowledgeable about Resident Evil. I don't know any lore or canon in this fandom. I've only watched creators on livestreams play the games and loved them, but I'm a fresh daisy to this fandom. And for some reason, I thought of doing a semi-AU story because those damn Leon TikTok edits have me unhinged, so that's what I'm rolling with. Leon is imagined as thirty-two in this, and I can't decide if I like RE4R or Requiem Leon better for how I picture him in the story, so you can imagine him either way. Although RE Vendetta and RE Infinite Darkness Leon could be used too.
If things aren't right or completely unlike what the games/shows/comics have depicted characters to be like, I'm sorry that I've got it wrong. Also, I know Leon is an enigma of emotions.
