Work Text:
Rumi sat down in her changing room as she stared at a clock sitting on the wall.
The purple haired girl groaned to herself, “Why did it feel like time was getting slower and slower?” She thought time was supposed to go by quicker when you're excited? Today was her big day, soon in the coming minutes she was going to marry Zoey and Mira.
At the same time though she did feel super nervous, her chest started to feel heavy, her heart began rapidly beating as she gripped the waist of her dress, trying to hold it together.
A knock is then heard at the door, “Come in.” Rumi answered, looking behind her.
The door opened, “Hey Rumi!” Bobby greeted her as he walked in.
“Hi Bobby!” Rumi smiled.
“Hey! How's my star doing-” Bobby then stopped mid sentence as he looked at Rumi.
“Well, how do I look?” Rumi asked, “Do I look good?”
Bobby stared at the purple haired girl for a moment, the silence in the room soon ended though as he began crying seeing one of his girls dressed up like this.
Rumi was wearing a long, loosely fitted, white wedding dress with a train attached to the back. She wanted to look as sharp as possible on her wedding day, while also wanting something too tight.
“You.. you look amazing.” Bobby said, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Rumi chuckled at her manager, “Thanks.” She smiled.
“Are you holding up alright?” Bobby asked, wiping the tears from his eyes.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Rumi affirmed, “I'm just feeling a bit nervous about this, that's all.”
“That's completely understandable.” Bobby assured her. “Lots of people feel nervous on their wedding day.”
“I know, it just feels unreal that this is happening.” Rumi explained.
“I can.” Bobby said to her, “You three have been by each other's side for this long,” he added, “I'm gonna repeat what I said the night you proposed; You three have been through so much together, you three love each other so much and I don't see anything stopping you three, not ever.”
Rumi smiled softly, “Thank you, Bobby.”

Rumi stood nervously at the altar, adjusting her dress and sweating nervously as the ceremony got under way. She held her breath as she waited, just then slowly from around the corner, Mira emerged.
Mira was wearing a tight fitted, ankle length, white wedding dress with a veil stretching all the way down to her feet. She looked stunning in her outfit, she saw the flustered look on Rumi’s face and grinned, her eyes glistening with confidence.
No sooner after Mira stepped onto the altar, Zoey followed soon after. Both Mira and Rumi’s jaws dropped as Zoey emerged, she herself was wearing this huge, light blue ballgown wedding dress and there were just way too many words to describe how good she looked.
Zoey saw both her girl's expressions and her cheeks blushed red, she refused to look away though, her eyes also caught on both Mira and Rumi's dresses.
Then after Zoey stepped onto the altar the trio was finally complete, the three of them exchanging excited, love filled smiles on their faces.
“We have come here to celebrate the union between these three lovely girls,” the officiant began. “You three may now exchange vows, Zoey, will you start us off?”
“Okay, so… I'm super excited and nervous about this happening so here goes nothing.” Zoey started her vows.
“I love you girls so, so much,” she said, “Though that's probably honest by the amount of songs I've written for you both.” She added, getting a chuckle from Mira and Rumi.
“Throughout our time together, I always thought I was too much for you guys, that I was never enough and I didn't belong with you girls, but look at us now, stronger than ever after we broke up! If the world was torn to shreds, I'd vow to find my way back to you, because I love you two that much.” Zoey smiled brightly, causing both Mira and Rumi to blush.
“Mira, you go next.” The officiant said.
Mira smiled softly at both her girls and let out a deep breath before speaking.
“To think just 5 years ago, we were brought together by Celine because she saw what we could be, and to my surprise it led to something I thought I'd never have again, a found family.” Mira held both Rumi and Zoey’s hands.
“You two made me feel loved, like I was important, that I finally belonged somewhere. You two are the most important people to me in the world, and I'll make sure you know it every day.”
“Alright, and now finally.. Rumi.” The officiant looked over to the red head.
“Alright,” Rumi spoke up, she then cleared her throat and began. “If you told me a couple years ago I'd be marrying not just anyone, but my two bandmates and they would've accepted the real me, I would've thought you were crazy.” She chuckled.
“But now that I'm standing here, beside you two and I feel like the luckiest girl ever. Mira, you may look all tough, but inside you're one of the kindest people I've ever met, the times you've been there for me and Zoey, you do all these things for us and you love us unconditionally.”
Rumi then cupped her hand on Mira’s cheek, rubbing it along softly before turning to Zoey.
“And Zoey.. I don't think I've ever met someone as passionate as you are. I always get so much joy when you talk about what you love, whether it's the songs you're writing or a movie you love. I love talking to you, and I would do it for hours and never get bored.” She cupped Zoey’s cheek and rubbed it softly just like Mira.
“You two are my soulmates, and I promise to love the both of you until the end of time.” Rumi finished, the girls smiled at one another, trying hard to fight back tears.
“W-Wow.. way to go girls, beautiful.” Bobby spoke between sobs.
“Zoey, do you take Rumi and Mira as your wives?”
Zoey beamed with excitement, “I do!”
“Mira, do you take Zoey and Rumi as your wives?”
Mira nodded, “I do.”
“And Rumi, do you take Zoey and Mira as your wives?”
“I do, in every world.” Rumi said.
“Okay, may I have the rings?” The officiant said.
Just then, Derpy emerged from behind the corner with Sussie on his head and brought forward a cushion in his mouth with three rings sitting on top of it.
Rumi grabbed a ring and carefully slid it onto Mira’s finger, Mira then grabbed a ring and slid it onto Zoey’s finger, and finally Zoey grabbed the final ring and slid it onto Rumi’s finger.
“You may now kiss the brides.” The officiant declared.
The girls wasted no time in getting close to each other, Mira looked like she was ready to pounce, Zoey had the biggest, silliest smile Rumi had ever seen in a long time, all three of them had tears in their eyes, threatening to fall.
Rumi closed the gap between her and Zoey before sealing their love with a passionate kiss on the lips, the purple haired girl leaned in, placing her hand on Zoey’s cheek as her tears spilled down. Rumi then turned her attention to Mira. And she leaned in as they both shared a sweet and innocent kiss. Then finally, both Zoey and Mira looked at each other, they leaned in and sealed their love with a kiss.
The girls then looked out into the small crowd before them, Rumi raised their hands in the air and smiled brightly. They entered this new chapter of their life together as wives with smiles and laughter.
