Chapter Text
It wasn’t very often he visited this place. He was busy and didn’t often have times for trivial things such as bars or concerts.
But that day was different. He had felt the urge to leave his work, just for a bit, and go explore the city. It was filled to the brim with people. Their chatter because a slight background as he walked amongst them.
They didn’t know who he was, but he found he didn’t mind. It was nice to blend into the crowd as he headed towards the most crowded area. A concert hall.
He could hear the music from miles away. And if he was being honest he was drawn to the music. It was a lovely sound; heavy and fast. The singer could’ve been a siren with his lovely his voice was.
He hurried until he got to the concert, easily slipping in without issue, and he made his way towards the stage.
The lead singer had long blond hair. It was curled and glitter shimmered. Tight leather paints made him hard and his eyes went up to the sheer cropped top the singer was wearing.
He studied the man’s face and saw unnaturally blue eyes and a pair of sharp fangs.
“Ah a vampire” he muttered. He should’ve known. Only an immortal could be so lovely.
The sent of sand and lotus entered his nose. He turned to see a beautiful woman. Long silky black hair framed her face and her presence was powerful.
“Akasha.” He said, nodding his head in respect. The queen of the damned, vampire goddess herself.
“My lord.” She replied. He appreciated her not using his actual name. It would’ve gained too much attention. “I see you like my prince.”
He turned back to the vampire, Akasha’s Prince on stage. He was rather lovely. Back in his day he would’ve been regarded as a god. Would’ve made one of his kind jealous but the Lord found he didn’t mind.
No, instead he just wanted the vampire. He could already imagine how it would feel to take him. To fuck him until he was crying and overwhelmed by pleasure.
“You can have a turn with him. If you want.” Akasha whispered in his ear. “I’ll even let you do what you love best, my lord.”
His eyes widened in desire. Sharing wasn’t as uncommon as one might imagine with Gods. Yes they were possessive but they loved to see their lovers taken.
But what she was offering? Oh that was truly a gift.
“Thank you, Akasha. I appreciate your generous gift. I shall owe you a favor. Use it wisely.”
“Just don’t hurt my pretty Lestat. That’s my job.” And she was gone.
The lord turned his eyes to stage and smirked. Lestat had no idea what was going to happen. Just how lucky he was.
~~~
Lestat wasn’t a stranger to fucking strangers. Honestly he did it fairly often now that he was a rockstar. He was immortal and single. He had needs!
This man was… different. Something about him drew Lestat in. It wasn’t like with Louis. Where he was instantly in love with the man and knew he wanted to be his forever.
No, this man felt like he wanted to give Lestat an amazing night then never to be seen again. A one night stand that he’ll probably be thinking about for decades.
Lestat even let him be in control. Something he hadn’t done since he and Louis separated all those years ago. He didn’t want to submit to anyone but Louis. Yet he found himself giving into the man.
“C'est si bon.” Lestat moaned. “More, please.”
The man obliged. He rammed into Lestat’s prostate and the vampire cried. The man soothed him with a kiss on his cheek. A gentle gesture for such an act.
“γαμημένα πανέμορφα” the man praised. Though Lestat didn’t understand the language. It sounded familiar. “You’re gorgeous, Lestat.” The man continued like he could read the vampire’s mind.
A hand wrapped around Lestat’s swollen and aching cock and he whimpered. The touch was both heaven and hell combined.
It was like fire as the man started to stroke him. Intense burning grew and he knew he wasn’t going to last long. Not with a large dick in his ass and a warm hand around his aching cock.
“You look so good like this. At my mercy.” The man’s accent was thick as he approached his own crescendo. “Gonna fill you up so good it’ll be impossible not to take.”
Lestat was coming all over the stranger. He didn’t realize he would enjoy hearing such words but fuck it really did something to him. The fire consumed him as the man stroked him through his orgasm.
He never relented until the man was spilling into Lestat. He just worked him through until the man was finished as well. Then like soft waves coming to extinguish the burning.
The man brought him into a kiss and Lestat disintegrated like sugar into water. He felt floaty, just so light.
“You were so good for me, Lestat.” The man told him as Lestat’s eyes began to flutter shut. He didn’t realize how tired he was until the man spoke. “Sweet dreams my vampire. Can’t wait to meet our-“
And just like that Lestat was asleep. Three hours before the sun even threatened to rise.
The man pulled out and waved his hand. The mess that was all over and inside Lestat was gone. All that was left was the memory of the night. And something else.
~~~
Three months after that wild night and Lestat felt like he was going to die as he vomited up blood into the already disgusting toilet.
The past two weeks had been spent with him heaving into whatever toilet or bucket was closest and he was honestly getting concerned.
He had called Louis the night prior and begged him to meet Lestat in New Orleans. Lestat’s tour had ended and he was finally in his home again. And he wanted Louis so badly it hurt.
Surprisingly or not, Louis had agreed to come. He was due to arrive any moment now. Lestat just hoped he was done vomiting by the time his Saint Louis got there. That was definitely not how he wanted to see his ex husband.
His body ached and he was even paler than usual. He had scared multiple mortals with how see through his skin was becoming. He was scaring himself. It was like he took very bad blood. Drugged and dead man’s blood.
But Lestat was very careful with what he drank recently. The drugged blood had been a good time until Louis had dragged him away and lectured him for it.
“Fuck, Lestat you can’t do that. I won’t lose you to that shit you hear me?” Louis had screamed.
Lestat hadn’t touched anything but pure human blood since. He didn’t know why his body was rejecting any of his meals. But it was getting annoying.
“Les? I’m coming in.” Louis called as the front door opened. Lestat had given him a key when he bought the place.
They weren’t dating. Not yet anyway. Louis had made it very, very clear that he wanted time apart before they could restart their relationship. To just be friends.
It wasn’t because of Lestat, Louis claimed. But because Louis needed to know his true self and hopefully sort through whatever memory manipulation Armand did to him.
He told Lestat he would work on himself and then if Lestat still wanted him they could give it a shot.
That had been five years ago. Lestat still wanted Louis like lungs wanted air. He was sure he would want Louis until the night he didn’t rise again.
“Bathroom, mon Cher.” Lestat said before heaving. So much for not throwing up in front of Louis. Lestat sighed as he rested his head against the seat. Disgusting.
He felt Louis’ presence before he heard him. He always knew when Louis was near, it always felt so right. Seventy years of hallucinations had never felt the same as the man’s actual presence.
“Oh Lestat. You really are sick.” Louis’ voice was soft.
Lestat stiffened for a moment when Louis put his arm around him, but he instantly melted into his embrace. He felt bad that he was disgusting but he needed the comfort from his best friend.
Tears started streaming down his face. He felt like utter shit and this was his breaking point.
“je ne sais pas ce qui m'arrive.” He cried. “ I just don’t know.”
Louis pulled him closer and didn’t care when Lestat’s head rested on his chest. He was probably covered in bloody vomit. It hadn’t been an easy sick session. It was brutal.
“I’ve got you, baby, I’ve got you. Well figured this out. Together yeah?” Louis murmured, hand rubbing circles on his back. “It’s me and you. You and me.”
Lestat cried harder. He didn’t know if Louis meant it the way it sounded. But oh he hoped. He hoped this was the moment Louis decided to keep him around. To never leave him again. At least not permanently.
“Oui, mon Cher. You and me.” Lestat said between shaky breaths. “Don’t leave me.”
He sounded desperate. He always did when it came to Louis. It was one of the only emotions he could convey correctly.
For the first time in a long time, Louis didn’t seem upset or angry over the request. He just held Lestat closer and whispered “I mean it leatat. You and me. I won’t leave.”
He held Lestat as he cried for hours. Neither one knowing what the hell was happening. But at least they had each other.
~~~
Dr. Fareed Bhansali was a vampire doctor. Not only was he an immortal himself he also studied vampirism.
He had spoken to Lestat and Louis before to get them to donate samples of their dna for his vampire fertility experiments. Neither vampire had agreed to it since they figured it wouldn’t go anywhere. Vampires couldn’t get pregnant.
“To put it bluntly, Lestat is pregnant.” Fareed informed them as he looked down at his charts.
Or maybe they could.
Louis looked over at Lestat’s now shaking form. His maker seemed weaker than ever before. His skin practically invisible at how pale it was. No blood would stay in his system for more than an hour.
“Pregnant? Fareed are you fucking with us?” Louis asked as he grabbed Lestat’s hand. He wasn’t shocked when Lestat gripped it tightly.
“No. I don’t joke about vampiric discoveries. It appears Lestat is about three months along? Would that be right for you two? When was the first time you started having sexual relations again?”
His cheeks burned as guilt grew in his chest. They hadn’t been having any sexual relations. And hadn’t in nearly a hundred years. Which Fareed knew about due to their therapy sessions.
Lestat looked two seconds away from crying again. Their lack of romantic relationship was a sore spot for the older vampire. His desire to have a companion was so strong and Louis had kept it from him.
That was going to change soon. Louis handy been lying when he told Lestat that he wasn’t leaving him. They had spent fair too long apart.
“We haven’t.” Lestat said in a flat tone. “Last person I hooked up with was three months ago. But I didn’t get his name.”
Louis wasn’t surprised by this. Lestat had been on tour and groupies were always throwing themselves at him. At first Lestat had denied them but Louis had encouraged him to experience whatever he wanted.
He was a dumbass but he wasn’t going to admit it. He hated that Lestat was sleeping around. Apparently getting fucked by other people when he swore he was only comfortable bottoming for Louis.
It wasn’t any of his business though. And right now Lestat needed him. He didn’t need his jealousy.
“How did this happen? Lestat is a vampire. A male vampire.”
“It seems he was blessed by the Queen herself.” At Fareed’s words Lestat laughed. It was nervous laughter. Scared laughters.
Louis gave him a sympathetic glance as he squeezed his hand. Lestat’s free hand had made its way to his stomach. His fingers covering the flat surface. He didn’t think Lestat knew he was doing it.
“Blessed? You think what’s happening without his consent is a blessing?” Louis growled. Lestat should’ve been told he could do this. So he could make an informed choice.
His blood was boiling. He hated the thought of this bitch deceiving Lestat. And it had to be recent too since she just woke up.
“It’s a child, Louis.” Lestat pulled on his arm. “A little angel. Could be a blessing.”
The word Angel made Louis freeze. He was taken back to their old home in New Orleans. After the fires that Louis caused had nearly killed a little girl.
Claudia had been reborn that night. Their blessing. Their child. Oh how Louis missed her.
“You’re right. It can be. If that’s what you want.” Louis gave a small smile. “There’s options. Right Fareed?”
The doctor agreed and started explaining the two options Lestat currently had. Termination, which could be done if that’s what he wanted. He couldn’t tell him if it was a better option due to no vampire baby ever being conceived prior.
Or Lestat could continue on with the pregnancy. Fareed would be staying near by to help with any and all baby issues. He would carefully check in and make sure they find a way to feed Lestat without him throwing it all up.
“It’s completely up to you. Take a few days to consider it.” Fareed told Lestat, keeping eye contact. “This isn’t a decision to be taken lightly. It’s a future for you and your child.”
Lestat grimaced but responded “Oui. Thank you for seeing me. Me and Louis have a lot to think about.”
Louis’ heart skipped a beat at Lestat’s words. Lestat wanted Louis to be part of the decision?
“Thank you, Fareed. I’ll call you once we talk about this.” Louis shook the doctor’s hand and wired him money. Fareed handed him a packet of information and a few blood bags to see if the cold helps settle Lestat’s stomach.
The drive back to Lestat’s house is silent. After drinking three cold blood bags and managing to keep them down, Lestat hadn’t said a word and neither did Louis.
Lestat was lost in thought as he tapped gently along his belly. Louis could hear a tiny heartbeat that started to mimic the taps. He wondered if Lestat heard it too.
The twin sounds made Louis feel warm. It was surprisingly sweet. The vampire baby copying its parent’s movements.
If Louis had to guess. Lestat was going to keep the baby. He had called the little one a blessing, and he hadn’t stoped touching his belly since it sunk in he was pregnant.
Plus Lestat, above all else, just wanted to be loved. He wanted someone who would love him unconditionally. This baby would love him unconditionally. Louis could feel it.
Claudia had loved Lestat, just like Lestat loved Claudia. But their love for each other had been tragic. Too much pride and similar personalities causing arguments left and right.
This would be different. The choice to keep the baby would be fully on Lestat. No forcing, no trapping. No life or death situations to force his hand. Just a simple choice.
And if he asked what Louis thought about it? Well Louis would support Lestat either way. He wouldn’t judge him if he couldn’t handle it, nor would he abandon him if he did. He wasn’t leaving this time.
“Lestat.” Louis had pulled up in front of the house.
“Mon Cher, can we go lay down for a bit? I feel overwhelmed.” Lestat spoke before Louis could continue.
Louis nodded because he couldn’t, wouldn’t deny Lestat anything. Especially not when he didn’t feel good. “Sure. Do you wanna cuddle?”
Lestat seemed surprised by the offer but muttered a yes. Louis was at his side of the car in a flash and scooped him up.
It was a bit unnecessary but it was faster this way. Lestat muttered something about being able to walk which Louis ignored. If the pregnant vampire wanted to cuddle then they were going to cuddle.
“Coffin or bed?” Louis thought the bed would be more comfortable but Lestat didn’t overly enjoy them. He had told Louis a bit of his past and the younger vampire couldn’t blame him in the least.
“If we lay in coffin I’ll have to lay in you.” Lestat said, clearly not expecting Louis to be completely on board with it.
Which is why he walked straight over yo the coffin and set Lestat down to where he could stand. Louis opened the coffin and laid down.
Lestat’s face was slightly pink as Louis looked up at him. He knew he probably looked smug but he found he didn’t mind.
“You can be on top.” Louis echoed Lestat’s words to him from their first night together. Lestat’s had given Louis a gift that night. And Louis hoped to give him one back.
Lestat laughed, his smile bright for the first time in a while. His eyes sparkled and he crawled ontop of Louis.
Lestat was warm, like a weighted blanket on top of Louis’ chest. He wrapped one arm around him so his hand rested on his belly. And his other hand went straight to Lestat’s blond hair.
“Get some rest, baby. We can talk about everything when the sun goes down.” Louis kissed the top of Lestat’s head and Lestat fully relaxed into him.
Louis couldn’t believe this was all happening. The baby, holding Lestat. It was a dream. But there in the shared coffin, with just the three of them, Louis finally felt home.
