Chapter Text
Blake's POV:
My twin and I walk towards the edge of the cliff. "How do you think they're gonna take it?" Bella asks biting her lip anxiously.
I shrug, "I don't know. Hopefully well, I guess. Do you want to stay up here or..." I gesture to the edge of the cliff. She carefully looks over the edge and shakes her head frantically.
"No,no,no, uh, you know I don't do good with heights," Bella tells me stepping away from the edge a couple of feet.
I chuckle, "wimp." She tries shoving me but I stay still, smirking at her smugly.
Bells rolls her eyes, "just jump off the cliff already, stupid." I salute her and dive off the cliff, falling straight down into the water.
I swim down and fall out of the water, landing on my feet in the pit. The pit is where my friends and I learn new fighting techniques. You see my friends and I are protecters of earth. We are the Power Rangers.
I walk into the spaceship heading to the Command Center where my friends are talking to Alpha. Alpha is a robotic assistant but he's not just a robot, he's our friend.
"Mistress Blake has arrived, sir!" He excitedly says making me chuckle. He is always excited. My friends smile at me and each of them give me a hug.
Their names are Jason he's the red ranger, Kimberly she's the pink ranger, Billy he's the blue ranger, Trini she's the yellow ranger, and last but not least is Zack he's the black ranger.
"I can see that, Alpha. Now Blake, I believe you wanted us here to tell us something," Zordon stated and they all look at me.
I nod with a grimace. Straight to the point, huh? "Right, uh, as you all know my mom got remarried," they nod, "well Phil and my mom want to travel so Uh, Bells and I are going to live with our dad. In Forks, Washington."
Their expressions are priceless. "You're moving?!" Jason, Kimberly, and Trini exclaims gobsmacked.
"There's a town called Forks?" Zack asks confused making Trini smack his head and he winced. I laugh at that. He always says something stupid but that's what we like about him.
"You and Bella aren't gonna be my friends anymore?" Billy asks sadly making my laughter instantly stop. Oh my heart.
"What? Yes we're still gonna be your friends, Billy. That will never change. We can text, call, and FaceTime if you want. Ok?" I gently tell him, touching his arm.
Slowly a smile stretches his lips and he wraps his arms around me. I giggle, wrapping my arms around him.
"You better call us everyday or else Kimberly and I will fly over there just to kick your ass," Trini says after Billy and I pull back.
"Cross my heart," I state throwing my arms around the girls shoulder making them giggle and wrap their arms around my waist.
"Blake, do you still want to be a Power Ranger?" Zordon questions and I look at him.
"Of course I do. I made a commitment to my friends, family, and the world, Zordon. I'm not gonna abandon my duties as a Power Ranger, sir," I firmly announce and he smiles.
"I'm glad you feel that way, Blake. It's a good thing Alpha and I think ahead. Alpha, would you get the items," Zordon says with a smile.
"Oh! It's time! It's time! You guys will love it!" Alpha laughs excitedly and runs off somewhere. My friends and I look at each other with confused smiles.
Alpha runs back in humming excitedly with a tray full of......watches? There's one for all of us in our color. Alpha holds out the tray and we grab our respective color.
"You made us watches?" Trini asks confused, looking at her yellow watch.
"Who cares? Free watch," Zack laughs, putting on his watch.
"It's not just a watch, Trini, Zack. I had Alpha make these after your first battle with Rita. These are your Morphers. There was a possibility that some of you would move away from Angel Grove, so the watches can teleport you here and anywhere you need to go," Zordon tells us as we inspect them.
This so cool. I put mine on as the others do the same. "How does it work?" Jason asks touching it, fascinated by it.
"Alpha,show them," Zordon orders making Alpha get excited all over again. He goes over to Billy and grabs his wrist.
"You twist the top clock wise then push down and say proudly 'It's Morphing Time!' Then counterclockwise for teleporting which you say out loud where you want to go," he excitedly exclaims showing us the moves.
"Anywhere?" We turn to Zack cautiously as Alpha confirms it.
Zack lights up and turns his watch. "Krispy Kreme in Vegas!"he pushes down and all of a sudden he teleports out.
All of our jaws dropped in shock. "Holy cow! My turn! It's Morphing Time!" Billy twists the top and pushes down. His ranger suit forms on him and he cheers excitedly.
Zack reappears eating a donut and has beads around his neck. "This watch is awesome!" He exclaims and shoves the rest of the donut in his mouth happily.
I chuckle and look at Zordon. "Thank you, Zordon. This means a lot," I sincerely say gesturing to my watch. This is exactly what I need when Bella and I go to Forks with our dad.
"You're very welcome, Blake. Rangers, remember these aren't toys. Use them wisely. With great power comes great responsibility," he informs us and we nod.
Subconsciously we get in a line facing him. "We will, Zordon. We know how important these are," Jason says and the rest of us nod firmly.
Zordon smiles proudly, "I know you will, Rangers. Now go on, have fun the rest of the day." We nod and wave bye to Alpha who waves back excitedly.
"When do you guys leave?" Kimberly asks holding onto Jason's hand as we walk to the pit. I stuff my hands into my pockets and Trini loops her arm through mine and I smile down at her.
"In two months so our dad and mom can set everything up for our move," I explain and they nod.
"We'll let's make these two months memorable for the twins!" Zack cheers making all of us laugh.
Two months later........
No One's POV:
Bella: "My twin and I never given much thought to how we would die. But dying in the place of someone we love seems like a good way to go"
Blake is sitting on the steps watching her twin get a cactus from the backyard. She stares out into the horizon, enjoying the heat before they're shipped off to a cold town.
Bella: "So we can't bring ourselves to regret the decision to leave home. We would miss Angel Grove, Phoenix. We would miss the heat. Our friends and our outgoing mom and her husband Phil."
Bella walks over to her sister and she stands giving Bella a small smile. They walk to the front of the house where their mom and stepdad are putting their suitcases in the car.
Their mom wraps them in a hug, "remember if you don't like it over there just call me and we'll bring you girls back. Okay?" Blake and Bella nod with a smile and their mom gives them a kiss on the cheek.
"Renee, come on. Guys come on. I love you all. We got a plane to catch," Phil says and the twins take one last look at their home before they're ushered to the van.
Right away Blake rolls down the window as Bella gets in on the other side. Blake's phone starts ringing and she checks it seeing a FaceTime request from Billy so she answers it.
It connects and soon she see's all of her friends pushed together. "What are you guys doing?" She giggles as they all look squished together. Blake gestures for her sister to look and Bella leans over, giggling at the sight.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up you two. At least you're not being elbowed in the gut," Zack groans as Trini moves slightly, hitting him.
"We wanted to catch you guys before you got on the plane to say bye and good luck with the rain," Jason tells them making the twins smile at them.
"This one needs all the luck she could get with her clumsiness," Blake points her thumb at her twin. Bella gasps offended before slapping her shoulder.
Blake laughs at her making Bella roll her eyes. "Hope you girls have fun over there but not too much fun where you end up getting in trouble. Blake," Kimberly says raising her eyebrow at her.
Blake presses her hand on her chest, "why I would never." Their friends each give her a pointed look.
"Okay, maybe I will. But it would be for a good cause. You know I don't get in trouble on purpose, Kim. Also what about Bells? She could get in trouble," Blake adds making Billy nod agreeing that she does it for a good cause.
She always sticks up for kids who are being bullied just like he was but Blake quickly put a stop to it. "Please the only crime Bella can get in, is reading too many books when she should be hanging out," Trini points out and Blake nods.
"Hey! There's nothing wrong with liking books. They're enjoyable," Bella defends herself. Renee and Phil give each other a smile liking how open Bella has gotten with the help of Blake and their friends.
For the rest of the short ride the twins talked to their friends before they had to board their plane. Blake put their bags in the overhead locker before sitting next to her sister.
They buckle in as they wait for everyone else to take their seats. "Hey, Bells?" Blake whispers and Bella turns to look at her sister.
"Do you feel safe?" She asks making Bella look confused by the question.
"They said to make sure all small items are secure. So I'll ask again, do you feel safe?" Blake says with a serious face. Bella glares at her sister.
"I will hit you," she states making Blake start laughing quietly before she had to quiet down since the flight attendant started speaking.
"Please fasten your seat belts and refrain from smoking while the no smoking sign is on. From Captain Jackson and the crew, it is our pleasure to serve you today. If there is anything we can do to make your flight more enjoyable, please let us know," one of the flight attendants announced on the speaker.
Soon after take off, everyone got comfortable in their seats. Bella goes into her backpack to grab her book making Blake chuckle and put in her ear buds to listen to music.
Her twin is literally proving everyone's point. She's a bookaholic. Blake leans her head back and closes her eyes, letting the music consume her.
'It's gonna be so different living with our dad. We haven't been in Forks for a couple of years' she thinks tapping her leg anxiously.
