"No! Wait! I changed my mind!"
He had not listened to what Audrey had said. She had managed to peek into his eyes and only saw blood and darkness and hatred for the Ink Demon. The net had caught her and kept her still, and the world blackened. Now she had decided it was no good to try this. She didn't know what she had now gotten herself into and just laid there helpless. However, not all things have been helpless as Allison had managed to find her in time and took her away in time. Now she was half asleep and half-awake in her arms. She was hungry and queasy too. Audrey tried to move but her body refused, soreness spread in her lower body. She felt a high fever too.
"Tom, she needs our help." Allison said softly.
Audrey tried to move but Allison prevented it. Audrey fell to the darkness once again.
