It was late Saturday night in the UA Class 1A dorms. Most of the students were gathered in the common room playing games or studying. Midoriya was missing from their group yet again, as he was off training with All Might. Usually Bakugou would be with them helping Midoriya train, but tonight All Might requested Midoriya come alone so they could try something new.
Some of the students were quickly becoming bored with studying as seen by the group of girls Mina was part of. Bakugou half listened to their chatter, not really paying them much attention unless one asked for help with a problem in their homework.
“How about we play a game!” Mina declared loudly, jumping from her seat at the table.
“Oh! What kind of game should we play Mina?” Ochako asked, tilting her head a bit.
“Hm… How about a guessing game!” Mina quickly responded with a sly grin.
“What are we supposed to be guessing? Kero?” Tsu asked.
“It should be something difficult. Otherwise it might be hard to determine a clear winner, but at the same time it has to be something we can confirm.” Momo stated while touching her finger to her chin in thought.
At this point the girls had caught the attention of most of the class, Bakugou still only half listening while reading his book.
Kaminari jumped up in excitement. “I know! Why don’t we guess how many freckles are on Midoriya’s body! Then we can have him confirm the number when he gets back to figure out who wins!”
“That works! Let the betting begin!” Mina exclaims in excitement, all but bouncing in place.
“In that case I shall record our guesses for anyone who wishes to partake.” Momo states while pulling a pin and notebook from her chest. “Who would like to go first?” Momo diligently wrote down each name and guess onto her list.

Ochako: 815
Tsu: 554
Todoroki: 415
Iida: 841
Kaminari: 444
Kirishima: 485
Sero: 854
Jiro: 302
Hagakure: 495
Momo: 850
Once everyone else had confirmed they didn’t wish to guess Momo laid her pen down and repeated each person and the number they guessed out loud.
“God, you extras are all stupid as hell. None of you are even close to the correct answer.” Bakugou snorts at them, still only half paying attention.
“Oh, really? Then what do you think his freckle count is huh Mr. I’m Better Than Everyone Else…” Ochako huffs with her hands on her hips.
Bakugou finally looks up from his book and glares at her. “1685.”
Momo raises an eyebrow wondering why his guess would be so large compared to everyone else's, but adds him to the bottom of the list nonetheless.
Bakugou: 1685
Ochako huffs and puffs up her cheeks again. “Well, I guess we’ll see who’s right when Deku-kun returns then! I’m sure our numbers are closer than yours anyway! We spend more time around him after all since we’re his best friends and all!”
Bakugou snorts again. “Keep telling yourself that Pink Cheeks.”
The group goes to talk about other things while they wait for the return of their residential broccoli boy. It doesn’t take much longer for him to return covered in dirt and sweat. Before he can even attempt to go clean up, Mina and Ochako grab him and drag him into the living room.
“Soooo Midoriya-kun wanna tell us exactly how many freckles you have?” Mina asks while smiling innocently, which immediately tells Midoriya she’s up to something.
“Uh, is there a reason you need to know?” He tilts his head looking around to see most if not all the class watching him.
“The extras made a bet on how many freckles you have on your body. Pink Cheeks is pissy because she thinks she knows better how many are on you than I do.”
“Huh… Oh well in that case… I had a total of 1685 freckles on my body last we counted.” Midoriya states with a shrug.
The room went quiet as they all moved to stare at Bakugou in shock. “Is everything okay? Why are you all being so weird all the sudden?” Midoriya asks them.
“They’re all just processing the fact that I knew the exact number and more than likely trying to figure out how they missed so many freckles. Not like they’ve ever seen all your freckles anyway.” Bakugou snorts.
“Well yeah, of course they wouldn’t have seen all of them. I mean a lot of them are on my lower back and inner thighs after all…” Midoriya mumbles to himself not realizing he was being loud enough for the others to hear.
The girls heads immediately snapped to look at the mumbling boy in shock. It quickly clicked in Mina’s head that the only way Bakugou could possibly know the exact number was if Midoriya told him, or if he’s actually seen and counted all the freckles on the boy. Mina was betting on the latter seeing as Midoriya had let it slip that someone had helped him count those freckles.
“Okay, well that was fun but I really really need a shower now.” Midoriya states before taking off to the bathrooms.
Bakugou stands up and stretches before slowly following the green haired boy.
“Wait, where are you going Baku!” Mina shouts.
“I have the sudden urge to take a shower.” Bakugou states while grinning back at her knowing she’s more than likely figured out how he knows the answer by now.
