As the world changed, and years passed by the appearance of superhumans, humans born with a mutation that gave them extraordinary powers, otherwise known as quirks
No one knew how it happened. There were many theories, but nothing concrete was ever discovered.
Not knowing what to do with their powers and being ostracized by those without them, people began resorting to violence and crime.
That resulted in the quirk war and next came the heroes with these powers or as they used to call it meta ability, and now called quirks
Thus came an era of professional heroes who were trained to protect the weak from these villains.
Until there were only 20% of people that are 'quirk'less, most of the quirkless comes from older generation. And of those 20% only 1% of those are from this generation...

Midori grabs his backpack and throws it at the villain hitting it in the eye with a pencil

When the sludge incident finished many people started leaving, so I hid behind a pole, I Heard Bakago getting praised while Midori was getting scolded.
'He did what you thought was impossible without a different quirk and the idiot that did nothing is getting praised!? The fuck is wrong with these heroes'
'I should follow Bakago so everything stays the same'
