Work Text:
Names are highlighted in red if they are inferred from cadre dynamics without being mentioned in canon. Characters Elster can meet and speak to while they are presently alive are marked ✓. Characters who are already deceased or corrupted are marked †. Characters who appear to have died iteratively, leaving evidence of multiple deaths, are marked ‡.
| Gestalt | Notes |
|---|---|
| Ang, Gabriele NGGBRL-R-0156d |
A retired construction worker living in Sektor C. She suffers from chronic asthma, osteoporosis, and severe hearing loss. The doctor requested a cochlear implant for her. |
| Chen, Wilhelm S-23-A-6514 |
A worker at S-23 Sierpinski who was interrogated over contraband found in his locker. He confessed and was punished with no food for three cycles. |
| Elster (Gestalt)† |
Elster's Gestalt was a soldier in the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry, Unit 12: either Birgit Fukuyama, Lilith Itou, Anna Huang, Elise Ng, Notburga Park, or Helena Wong. Her photograph is discovered in the Yeong Photo store by both Elster and Ariane at different times. Rebecca Liang, another veteran of the unit living in Sektor C, or the next-door Itou family are probable recipients of the original photographs. Elster's Gestalt lost her right eye due to a bloody injury she sustained in a trench after an enormous explosion, which left at least five other soldiers dead beside her under a tattered Eusan Nation flag. Cannons similar to those depicted in a propaganda poster for Orbital Defense Battery Vineta-12 are visible in the background, suggesting that this unit was assigned to a similar battery. Elster's Gestalt is later seen placing a lily on a ring of six monuments. After that, she is depicted with an eye patch in the same photograph as Alina Seo, having both survived that battle. This is the photograph upon which Unit 12's members' names are written. Elster's Gestalt was less decorated than Alina at that time, and she is obscured in the Polaroid photo that Elster has at the beginning of the game. By virtue of being chosen by AEON to become a Replika donor, Elster's Gestalt must have been considered an exemplary citizen of the Nation. She was disappeared from records and public memory, and she was kept in cryosleep at the central Neural Archive on Vineta until it was destroyed and her neural pattern was lost. |
| Fong, Roswita FORSWT-V-350202 |
A retired Replika technician living in Sektor C who was born on Vineta. She is diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, multiple sclerosis, and insomnia. The doctor notes that she is forgetful about her medication. She has forehead tattoos indicating she is bioresonant. |
| Fukuyama, Birgit |
A veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12. If Birgit Fukuyama is the Elster Gestalt, it's possible that Heinrich is in Sierpinski because he was disappeared by association. |
| Fukuyama, Heinrich S-23-A-2367 |
A worker in Mining Operation A in S-23 Sierpinski who was recently transferred from the factory, where Alina Seo is assigned. He lived in dorm A22. He was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy against the state after Alina was searched, and his fountain pen was confiscated. The only other mention of a fountain pen is the one Adler purchases. |
| Gao, Waltraud GAWLTR-R-0276b |
A factory worker in Sektor C. He has irritative bronchial asthma, and the doctor notes he did not react well to antibiotics. |
| The Grand Empress† |
An extremely powerful bioresonant Gestalt whose will lifted humanity to the stars. She may have resided in the Floating Imperial Palace on Buyan. The Nation claims she is dead and that was defeated by the Great Revolutionary, ostensibly during an implied civil war which divided Eusan into the Empire and the Eusan Nation, although the Empress' hand note states that she took her own life. |
| The Great Revolutionary |
She is one of the Eusan Nation's Leaders. She is not bioresonant. |
| The Great Revolutionary's Daughter |
She is one of the Eusan Nation's Leaders. |
| Huang, Anna |
A veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12. A safe found on Rotfront containing butterflies is marked 黃 (Huang), which also means yellow. The lock to the safe is initially set to LSTR, which is not the correct combination (AEON). This may relate the safe to the King in Yellow, or may relate the Huang family to the Elster Gestalt. If Anna Huang were the Gestalt, all traces of her would be eradicated from public and private life. As such, her immediately family may require re-education and find themselves in Sierpinski. |
| Huang, Emilie† S-23-A-7331 |
A worker at S-23 Sierpinski who was interrogated for trespassing, after Franz Huo. They expired during interrogation. |
| Huang, Julia S-23-A-3582 |
Worked in Mining Operation A at S-23 Sierpinski, where she lived in dorm A64. She was searched after Helene Song and arrested on suspicion of bioresonance. Her hydroxycarbamide pills were confiscated and sent to the medical wing. A special supervision request for her was forwarded to Kolibri. A note found in A64 may be written by Julia. It expresses the author's awareness that the Protektors are afraid of and hiding something. The author mentions sharing a conversation with Alina, her across-the-hall neighbor, who says the author is just imagining things. |
| Huo, Franz S-23-A-3928 |
A worker at S-23 Sierpinski who was interrogated for obscenity to the state after Wolfgang Wong. He passed out during interrogation, and his punishment was a double work shift for two cycles. This is the declared punishment for using the word "re-education." |
| Itou, Anja |
Owner of the Itou Bookstore in Sektor C. She responded to KLBR-R16-04's e-mail about spare store keys by noting that the code for the back door is the birthday of her daughters, Isa and Erika. Ariane's teacher judges that questionable literature is illegally sold in the twins' "parent's bookstore," indicating only one parent operates the bookstore: Anja. The surname Itou is written 伊藤 on the bookstore. |
| Itou, Erika "Eri"† ITERIK-V-560524 |
A university student living in Sektor C. She previously had a grade I sprained ankle. The doctor notes that she is very active in sporting activities. She is Isa's twin sister and Anja's daughter. Erika once rescued Ariane from three bullies wearing gas masks, who assaulted Ariane in the library at Mandelbrot. Erika was in class 512 at Mandelbrot. All pictures of her have been partially damaged or erased the same way that Elster's Gestalt is erased from the Polaroid of Alina Seo. A shrine in the Itou Bookstore shows a grave to Erika with a photograph of her in a school uniform, implying that she died in high school or college. If Erika is actually in Sierpinski, it is possible she was disappeared by association with Lilith Itou. |
| Itou, Isolde "Isa"†✓ ITISLD-V-560524 |
A shop assistant living in Sektor C. Her medical history includes a minor fracture of her left shin, a double fracture of her right arm, and a major laceration on her forehead. The doctor notes that she is regularly treated for small lesions and is very prone to accidents. She is Erika's twin sister and Anja's daughter. She knew Ariane at Mandelbrot, although her failure to intervene in Ariane being bullied led to her feeling inferior. She was in classroom 512 with Erika, where she often borrowed Erika's notes and fell asleep in class. Isa appears in S-23 Sierpinski wearing her school uniform and searching for Erika, noting that "despite everything that's happened, I've come to look for you." She wields a knife and has a cut across her palm, where her corruption eventually spreads from. During the prologue, she is shown holding the knife and then there is a cut to blood splattering on a tesseract symbol on a tiled floor, implying that Isa may have deliberately cut herself with the knife. A shrine in the Itou Bookstore shows a grave to Isa with a photograph of her in a school uniform, implying that she died in high school or college. Given the nature of bioresonance, it is likely that the version of Isa that appears in S-23 is a projection. |
| Itou, Lilith |
A soldier in the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12. It is possible that the photographs of her unit were sent to her relatives at the Itou Bookstore in Sektor C. Lilith is not mentioned anywhere in the bookstore or included on the altar with Isa and Erika, suggesting that she is a distant relative, or that she has been disappeared because she is the Elster Gestalt. |
| Kho, Ulrike KHULRK-K-520702 |
A mechanic born on Kitezh working in Sektor C. She has irritative bronchial asthma, and the doctor's notes on her profile have been removed. The only other doctor's notes which have been removed are Ariane's. Because knowledge of Ariane causes the Imperial spy "Sun" to retreat to Kitezh while warning their partner, it is possible that these medical records were erased because Ulrike is (or is associated with) Sun. |
| Li, Saskia LISSKI-R-2939b |
A student in Sektor C who has a bronchial infection of unknown cause. A clothing store in Sektor C beside the Yeong Photo store and the Itou Bookstore bears Saskia's family name, written 李. They advertise that they sell clothing, masks, and uniforms. The masks are probably gas masks for protecting people from Rotfront's noxious atmosphere. |
| Liang, Rebecca LNGRBCC-V-500106 |
A biologist in Sektor C. She was admitted to the doctor for a sinus infection, wears glasses, and the doctor notes her antidepressant ration was doubled. She is a veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12, and she may be the source of the photographs that eventually reach Ariane's hands in Sektor C. She also coincidentally lives in the same neighborhood as Lilith Itou's family. Rebecca Liang is the only other member of Unit 12 besides Elster's Gestalt and Alina Seo who certainly survived the explosion that turned the sky pink. |
| Ng, Elise |
A veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12. |
| Nguyen, Nikolai NGNKOL-R-2122c |
A writer in Sektor C. He suffered from thoracic back pain and the doctor notes he claims to be unable to take part in communal morning exercises. |
| Park, Notburga |
A veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12. |
| Seo, Alina S-23-A-0512 |
A decorated veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12 depicted in a photograph beside Elster's Gestalt. Ariane discovers and mails the photograph to her mother Iris at some point, and Iris notes the uncanny resemblance between Alina and Ariane. Ariane later wonders whether Alina was loved and respected by her comrades in Unit 12. Alina characteristically wears two clips on her left bangs and ties her hair back with long red ribbon. The surname Seo is written 서 in Hangul. Elster experiences Gestalt memories of a woman with long, tied-back light brown hair wearing a white dress standing on a Vinetan train platform next to submerged train tracks. Three objects streak across a blue sky, and then something bright falls down towards a ruined city, and then the sky turns pink as an enormous explosion occurs. Later in a trench, Elster's Gestalt bleeds from her eye beside her dead comrades while the objects distantly continue streaking across the sky. This sequence ends with Elster's Gestalt and Alina together in a photograph. A possible explanation is that Alina is the woman in the white dress who witnesses the explosion from afar. Later in life, Alina worked in the factory at S-23 Sierpinski and lived in dorm A61. It is possible that she was compelled into re-education because she knew Elster's disappeared Gestalt. She holds a keycard for the worker's quarters west wing. At some point, Alina had shared a conversation with Julia Huang where she expressed that Julia was incorrect about her perception that the Protektor cadre was hiding something. Alina eventually began feeling light-headed and worried about missing more shifts because she was previously chewed out by a Storch for collapsing from exhaustion on the job. She was also worried that she hadn't seen LSTR-S2301 for the last few days, and was concerned about how many people went missing in the mines. After Alina fainted, her bunk had been searched by Protektors and her locked cosmetic box with a butterfly inlay was confiscated. This box contains the Plate of Eternity. Alina was not arrested, but she was transferred to the medical wing because she was injured. After her wound healed, the Protektors would not let Alina leave her hospital room and return to work. Alina overheard two Eules in the medical ward whispering that they're running out of staff. Alina eventually decided to sneak out to search for Elster and she discovered that everyone else in Sierpinski disappeared. She saw no trace of Elster, as if she'd never been in Sierpinski. A corrupted guard spotted Alina sneaking out of the medical wing and chased her, which made Alina realize the few remaining guards were corrupted. Alina eventually ends up in Nowhere. She doesn't know how long it's been or how she got here, and she feels that she's been here forever. Her hair is slowly turning white, and she remembers both her name and her life, and another name and a different life. It is implied that she is turning into Ariane, and that Ariane's physical body Elster interacts with during most endings is a fully-transformed Alina Seo. |
| Song, Helene S-23-A-4822 |
A worker in the Political Morals Class at S-23 Sierpinski, and lived in dorm A16. She was arrested for the ongoing investigation into the stolen radio, and her watch and ring were confiscated. She was originally sent to Sierpinski because of counter-revolutionary activity (distributing fliers at university). The only other known university student is Erika Itou. Helene Song's name is also suspiciously similar to Helena Wong, a veteran of Unit 12. |
| "Sun" |
There is an alleged Imperial spy living in Sektor C, which was considered a credible threat to public safety by the Protektor Public Office. This led to the cancellation of the seasonal Mondfest tradition, which is a celebration in most sectors of Rotfront that takes place at the end of each season. Sun is eventually found out. They discover that Ariane is bioresonant and decide they cannot take any more risks in Sektor C. They endeavor to board the next ship to Kitezh at Sektor N and implore their partner to come along. The only other person with known ties to Kitezh in Sektor C is Ulrike Kho. |
| Wong, Helena |
A veteran of the People's Army, 5th Vinetan Infantry Division, Unit 12. If Helena is the Elster Gestalt, it is possible that Michaela and Wolfgang were disappeared by association to her. |
| Wong, Michaela S-23-A-3054 |
A worker at S-23 Sierpinski. She was interrogated about illegally using the radio after Wilhelm Chen. She confessed, and was punished with isolation ("Iso") for two cycles. |
| Wong, Wolfgang† S-23-A-4952 |
A worker at S-23 Sierpinski. He was interrogated about illegally using the radio after Michaela Wong, who he may be related to. He expired during interrogation. |
| Yeong □□□† |
A member of the Yeong family listed on their altar in Nowhere (bottom row, 1st from the left). Their first name consists of three characters. |
| Yeong □□□□† |
A member of the Yeong family listed on their altar in Nowhere (bottom row, 3rd from the left). Their first name consists of four characters. |
| Yeong (Ancestors)† |
The top row of seven tablets on the altar in Nowhere are not legible. |
| Yeong (Father) |
Ariane's father did not participate in raising his daughter. |
| Yeong (Uncle) |
Kamilla mentions that Ariane's uncle ordered her some books from the Itou Bookstore. |
| Yeong, Ariane‡✓ YNGARN-L-5921D |
A Gestalt Scout Officer in the Eusan People's Navy and the pilot of the Penrose-512. She was raised solely by her mother in the mountains at Radio Station 6, Rotfront Orbital, which has no oversight of a block warden. Her mother noted Ariane was a sickly child. Ariane was eventually encouraged (or forced) to move to Sektor C to live with her aunt Kamilla, where she attends Mandelbrot Polytechnic High School. She is bullied severely by her classmates, but she eventually befriends Erika (and also Isa). Ariane's teacher's evaluation from Mandelbrot notes that she is remarkably odd and obsessed with paintings and music, and her teacher hopes that military service will beat Ariane's frivolous ideas out of her. Ariane graduates from Mandelbrot on R-34.59c. Ariane becomes hospitalized repeatedly while living with Kamilla on Rotfront, which may be an effect of Rotfront's noxious atmosphere. Her medical records from Sektor C detail that she eventually became a Radio Officer. Her medical history includes insomnia and premature achromotrichia. The doctor's notes on her profile have been removed. The Yeong Photo Store's signage shows Ariane's surname is written 楊. At some point, Ariane discovers the photograph of Alina Seo and sends it to her mother, who replies that Ariane and Alina look very similar. At another point, Ariane sees The King in Yellow at the Itou Bookstore, but one of the twins tells Ariane it was confiscated when she goes to purchase it. Ariane eventually volunteers for the Navy's Penrose program, which may be inspired by an advertisement she sees while she's alone on the Rotfront metro. At that time, she had worked as store clerk of the Yeong Photo Store and had also completed her compulsory military service in Rotfront Orbital, where she had Long-Range Radio Operations Officer Training. She is threatened by AEON that if she does not find employment by the end of the season, she will be assigned to the S-23 Sierpinski Production and Mining Facility on Leng. While Ariane is initially happy to get away from everything on the Penrose, she eventually becomes lonely and befriends Elster-512. She shows movies to her teaches her to dance to music, and eventually falls in love with her in a way she never thought she'd experience. Eventually, Ariane's hair and teeth begin falling out as she gets older. She and Elster are eventually left for dead after Cycle 3000, although they survive to at least Cycle 5500. The reactor begins to fail, and both become extremely ill with radiation sickness. Elster eventually dies, and Ariane remains in the cryopod for at least 262,144 cycles. Ariane eventually becomes inexorably tied to the flesh beneath Leng, the Red Eye, the Isle of the Dead, and the symbol of the Dreamer. The Penrose-512 becomes accessible through a gate in the mines at Sierpinski, and Ariane's bioresonance slowly infects the staff through Falke and plunges the facility into a time loop on 84-21-D, cycle 3000 of the Penrose and Ariane's 25th birthday. Ariane's name is listed multiple times on the Yeong family shrine found in Nowhere: bottom row, second and fourth (presumably) from the left. |
| Yeong, Franziska† |
A member of the Yeong family listed on their altar in Nowhere (bottom row, 6th from the left). |
| Yeong, Hans† |
A member of the Yeong family listed on their altar in Nowhere (bottom row, 5th from the left). |
| Yeong, Iris |
Ariane Yeong's mother. Her title was Radio Officer Yeong, and she worked and lived in Radio Station 6, Rotfront Orbital. She was inseparable from her daughter, which Iris' sister Kamilla knew when Kamilla arranged for Ariane to attend school under a block warden in Sektor C. |
| Yeong, Kamilla |
Ariane Yeong's aunt, and Iris' sister. She spoke with the officials at AEON and caused Ariane to go to school in Sektor C, where Ariane lived in her spare room. When KLBR-R16-04 asked for keys to the Yeong Photo Store, Kamilla told her a replacement key would take at least a period to be done, and that her niece (Ariane) had the only other key but was currently hospitalized. |
| Yeong, Lauren† |
A member of the Yeong family listed on their altar in Nowhere (bottom row, 7th from the left). Their first name consists of two characters, the last of which is "ren" or "ran," which may be Lauren. |
| Yi, Siegfried YSGFRD-R-1815a |
A cleaner in Sektor C. He suffers from irritative bronchial asthma and contact dermatitis. The doctor notes he had repeated contact with chemical irritants at work. |

| Adler✓ ADLR-S2301 |
A unit responsible for Management, Administration & Logistics, and Operational Command known as the Administrator of S-23 Sierpinski. He restricted radio privileges for all workers because at least one worker became aware of the broadcasting frequencies for the wall safes. He decided that all connected workers were to be interrogated. He also implemented the censure of the word "re-education" in Sierpinski, following AEON Public Interest Media Regulation AGM-87. Using the term in correspondence or conversation became punishable by two cycles of double work shift. On 84-21-6, he discovered the strange box with a removable dial on front in storage. It was confiscated from a worker some time ago. On 84-21-7, Adler was struggling to coordinate the logistics cadre because Kolibri was locked in her room. On 84-21-8, Adler dreams about what he thinks is his Gestalt life. He was wearing his uniform, and he conducted a test on a white-haired young woman using cards with astronomical symbols on them. The only known person matching this description is Ariane Yeong. On 84-21-9, he became certain that the strange box was an astronomical calendar and remembered having a conversation with an LSTR unit with an orange chest-piece when he was inspecting the mines. This unit is probably LSTR-S2301. On 84-21-A, Adler laments how long it's been since Falke fell ill. On 84-21-B, he also lamented how more and more Replika are ending up in the hospital wing, and how Gestalt workers succumb to the illness so easily. On 84-21-C Adler mentions having spent his saved Rationmarks on a fountain pen. The only other mention of a fountain pen is the one confiscated from Heinrich Fukuyama. Adler becomes aware he is stuck in a loop after he makes ten consecutive diary entries on 84-21-D, which begin with him being invited to a meeting with Commander Falke and end with him becoming certain that the answer to the looping awaits him in the mines. Previous diaries from past loops detail how Adler wanted to gift the unusual box to Falke, and how he experimented with sweet and savory food and found it disgusting. |
| Ara (Tunnel)✓ ARAR-S23□□ |
A dissident Ara lives in tunnels under the Storch Dorm, where she tends to bamboo plants. She may have stolen and reassembled a shredded document about Persona Degradation. She is surprised when Elster doesn't recognize her, implying that she may be Ara S2317 or S2318 from Excavation Team C. |

| Fünf ARAR-S2305 |
A staff member at S-23 Sierpinski who responded to a service request on 84-21-6 about the door in the Worker's Quarters. The management bumped the elevator engine repairs up in priority, so she had to leave lockpicking for the next shift. She had the key for the service hatch, which is left abandoned on the counter in the elevator. The lock was never successfully picked. |
| Acht ARAR-S2308 |
Staff member in the Medical Wing at S-23 Sierpinski who filed a personnel grievance form on 84-20-F about Elf misplacing her socket wrench in the medical wing "all the time." ARAR-S2308 was previously reprimanded for being unable to repair the fan due to the missing wrench. |

| Eule (Nurse's Office)✓ EULR-S23□□ |
Still alive in the Nurse's Office at S-23 Sierpinski. |
| März EULR-S2303 |
Staff member in the Worker's Quarters Kitchen Staff Department at S-23 Sierpinski. Filed a service request on 84-21-3 for her defective EULR RKM-7 Spatial Navigation Module, which would not show any data. She kept getting lost and had to sleep in a hallway because she couldn't find the staff elevator to return to her dorm. |
| Mai EULR-S2305 |
Juni sent her a note about the proper disposal of corpses. |
| Juni EULR-S2306 |
She works with the incinerator at S-23 Sierpinski and sent Mai a note about the proper disposal of corpses. She'd read November's autopsy report, and she said she they couldn't keep up with incinerating corpses so they decided to improvise with thermite flares. |
| August EULR-S2308 |
Works in Protektor Accommodations Management at S-23 Sierpinski. She processed ARAR-S2314's purchase order for a high voltage fuse and approved it. |
| September EULR-S2309 |
Staff member in the Re-education Department at S-23 Sierpinski who filed a service request on 84-21-4 about the wall safe in Classroom 4B, which keeps resetting to the default combination. This form was processed by ARAR-S2303. |
| November EULR-S2311 |
She works with the incinerator at S-23 Sierpinski and wrote an autopsy report about decommissioned Replikas spontaneously reactivating that concluded affected units all had cancerous growths in their biocomponents. She determined that those Repikas need to be completely incinerated to avoid reactivating. |
| EULR-S2321† | She complained of severe nausea and headaches and was admitted to the hospital wing at S-23 Sierpinski after vomiting oxidant fluid. Her initial admission test showed hypotension, high fever and dehydration, and internal hemorrhaging. Within a cycle she showed a strong cognitive decline, alopecia, and purpura. Within 5 cycles, her prognosis is that skin will begin to peel in large patches, and a decline in her vision and ability to communicate may follow. |
| Commander Falke✓ FKLR-S2301 |
She is the Protektor Führungskommando's Commander, the head of the Protektor force at S-23 Sierpinski. As of 84-21-A, she was poisoned by the red eye beyond the gate in the mines and was experiencing Elster's memories. She is a Generation 6 Replika with a powerful prototype Bioresonance Module, which allows her to bend the will of weaker minds and fathom their intentions and emotions. She can also manipulate objects from a distance. |
| KLBR-R16-04 |
She is part of the Blockwart of Sektor C (the Block Warden) who was tasked with patrolling the area. She requisitioned a Type-84 Submachine Gun from Aeon-Kommando Rotfront Nord, which was authorized by Blockwart ROT-C, after being warned that she would be decommissioned if she failed an upcoming examination. |
| Kolibri (Library)✓ KLBR-S23□□ |
Last surviving Kolibri at S-23 Sierpinski who is hiding in the library. She can no longer hear the others' song, and wishes to become corrupted to join them. |
| Kolibri† KLBR-S2301 |
A collective hive mind at S-23 Sierpinski. She became aware that Adler was hiding something, probed his mind, and learned that he had memories of an LSTR unit working in the mines even though no such unit had arrived. The purchase order had been delayed due to Falke's sickness. As of 84-21-7, Kolibri was locked in her room. Another (or perhaps the same) Kolibri holed herself up in the management office on the 7th floor, crying. She was broadcasting the image of the Isle of the Dead to all who came near. Elster considers that Kolibri drinks an absurd amount of tea. |
| KNCR-R16-22 |
Part of the Blockwart of Sektor C. Sent a warning to KLBR-R16-04. |
| Elster† LSTR-512 |
The technician Replika assigned to Penrose-512 who fell in love with Ariane Yeong. It was her duty to mechanically maintain the spacecraft. She is a Generation 5 Replika with a biomechanical frame and a carbon fiber-reinforced Polyethylene Shell. Her height is 178 cm. She is also equipped with a Repair Logic Module (RLM) which facilitates easy repair of herself and important mission equipment. Elster eventually died in Ariane's quarters from exposure to radiation poisoning while Ariane was in cryosleep. Although her lifespan was only expected to be 3000 cycles, she survived at least 5500. Her persona later overwrites many of Falke's memories. ELSTER-512 is also the registered persona of LSTR-S2301 visible in her boot sequence, implying that it was installed either in the manufacturing process or through a similar bioresonant process. Elster's name is written 鵲. |
| Elster‡✓ LSTR-S2301 |
Requisitioned recently by S-23 Sierpinski to explore the mines; knew Alina Seo. She is on Excavation Team C. Documentation states the persona of a decommissioned LSTR unit from the Penrose program was was somehow collected and used to make subsequent Elster units after the destruction of the central Neural Archive on Vineta. LSTR-S2301, who is deployed the period of 84-21-D, has a boot sequence which indicates her persona is ELSTER-512, not ELSTER, although this would not be possible in a stable timeline as LSTR-512 would not be decommissioned or dead for at least 2,500 more cycles. Any of this could also be explained through bioresonance. |
| Beo✓ MNHR-S23□□ |
An un-corrupted Mynah found the mines at S-23 Sierpinski. Beo's hydraulics have faulted and she can't move. Based on her location, she may be one of the Mynahs on Excavation Team C. |
| MNHR-S2301 |
She is on Excavation Team C at S-23 Sierpinski. |
| MNHR-S2302 |
She is on Excavation Team C at S-23 Sierpinski. |
| MNHR-S2303 |
She is on Excavation Team C at S-23 Sierpinski. |
| Mynah† MNHR-S2305 |
The Mynah fought in the Surgery ward at Sierpinski. Elster has to kill her to continue. |
| Star (Mines)✓ STAR-S23□□ |
