As always, Wu Xi woke up with the sun. He was greeted by his husband's entire body rolling on top of him the moment he moved.
It made no difference. Beiyuan looked healthier now, but he was still too thin. Wu Xi could pick him up like a feather.
"I can tell you're pretending," he said instead, more amused than he'd intended to. Beiyuan remained stubbornly still.
Those bad habits must be contagious, Wu Xi thought, pulling the covers back on top of them. But he was rewarded with a contented hum against his chest, so it was worth it.
