To my dear readers, please be patient with me as I will be updating Unwanted Reunion. I’m not done with it or its series. Just having a bit of trouble with this next chapter.
Some story notes: In this story, Westeros is a continent to the East of the British Isles (basically Westeros is Europe on a real world map) and Essos is still east of Westeros. There has never been much trade between the Isles and Westeros and the cultures and religions differ greatly.
Rhaenyra is 12 but fully flowered when her father marries Alicent, her former lady’s maid (not Lady in Waiting as she was too lower class for such a position), After Viserys disinherits Rhaenyra and locks away Syrax, she takes the little she can and goes to the British Isles as she doesn’t want to be found. There she winds up working as an Alehouse Whore in Winchester where eventually she meets Sihtric.
Meanwhile in Westeros, Alicent struggles to conceive any children and Daemon gets banished to Essos where he marries Laena (who tells him of Rhaenyra’s disinheritance but neither know how to find her). Jeyne Arryn is the only one in Westeros Rhaenyra has kept contact with, but no one knows that.
As for The Last Kingdom timeline, the story starts right around the time that the team is taking Skade from the Dane camp and before they arrive in Coccham (before Finnan comments that Nyra be under some man when Sihtric says he’s going to find her when they finally arrive in Winchester).
