Chapter Text
The book of Ohara, a book which its power had no limits.
Legend says that it had existed ever since the beginning of the world, and its every turning page was the history in motion, as it had been made by the falling leaves from the omniscient ‘Tree of Knowledge’ in Ohara.
It was ‘the book of everything,’ as some might call.
The existence of the book had always been doubted by the world, since how could anyone prove that there’s such incomparable power? Such power which whoever held it in their hands would then know every truth of the world in a glimpse of time.
Even If the book really existed - as some stories had stated - it had never shown its presence in the past thousand years. No historical records that could ever been found.
So, why is it here at this time?
Trafalgar D. Water Law - the captain of the Heart Pirates, one of the previous War Lord of the Seven Seas, one of the Eleven Super Nova of the worst generations - stood on the battlefield of Wano, lifting his hand to shield his eyes from the strong wind caused by the descending book appearing from the sky.
He guessed it was THE book, as nothing of its kind could have possessed the same level of fearful aura that could potentially tear the space apart.
Its presence was now resonating with Mugiwara-ya’s Gear 5 form which now presenting the pure light on the battlefield beneath the book itself - and the god-like presence was now using his ridiculous ability in full force to fight against Kaido’s threatening power. The air shattered between them, and the sky seemed to crack into shards as well.
Saying the result of the fight would determine the world’s fate wasn’t exaggerating. How could anyone stop this madness unleashed in front of their eyes? And now with the book’s appearance, everything seemed to be heading to the worst.
The dark clouds circled around the book above them, causing strong and deadly lightnings striking down from the heaven.
A huge storm had form above the sky.
This is bad. The book is sucking everything into the swirl it’s now creating. Law exhaled in a deep breath.
And he realized - the book might have also been the reason of why Ohara, Nico-ya’s hometown, had been destroyed, as the Government was feared of book’s existence.
The power it yielded was truly sensational.
The glow of the book suddenly darkened, and there’s a moment of peace.
Law didn’t know why, but suddenly, he had a really bad feeling rising from his guts.
"We have to leave!" he shouted to his crew and the others in the dying wind, for the land’s now roaring and trembling like the last breath before its death.
“Mugiwara-ya!” the surgeon shouted, his voice cracked with panic, trying to make a ‘Room’ that let him reach the captain of the StrawHats -
But it’s too late.
The book exploded into a blinding light, and Law could only see his world being devoured into the white void.
Monkey D. Luffy had started a storm in the world, and there’s no place for anyone to hide from it.
Law curled up his lips rather bitterly. His hand gripped tightly around Kikoku, feeling his weapon’s calm presence as he closed his eyes in acceptance.
Looks like this is the end of everything.
And in the next moment, he felt his body being pulled into the unknown, and he lost his consciousness in the enormous force that clashed his mind.
