Work Text:
Something itched beneath his skin, burning and aching, irritating him beyond the point where it could be ignored. He exhaled, shuddery and thin, clutching at his stomach in an attempt to soothe out the ache.
It barely worked, and Caelus gave into the urge to go look for Dan Heng. Some irrational part of him screamed at him to go find the man, so urgent that Caelus damn near thought that it was the stellaron within him that was pressing him so heavily to go searching.
It was late, the automatic lights in the train dimming a bit, reminding everyone to go to sleep, but Caelus ignored it, keeping on to the room where Dan Heng slept in.
A cramp tugged at his insides, feeling as if it were twisting his organs. He flinched, breath stuttering in his chest as he rubbed at his stomach, trying anything in an attempt to make it go away.
Caelus almost wept with relief when he made it to Dan Heng’s room, his body slumping against the wall next to the door, rapping his knuckles weakly against the metal barrier. He had no idea what was wrong with him, he could not even begin to fathom what it could be, but somehow he knew that Dan Heng would be able to help him.
After a few agonizing moments, the door opened, Caelus able to look the other man in the eyes, his nose briefly overwhelmed by the scent- (scent? That made no sense, Caelus had never had the strongest nose) but one look at Dan Heng’s widening eyes had whatever relief that blossomed in his chest vanishing in an instant.
“Hey,” he said, voice raspy in his throat, watching as an entire script of emotions flitted across Dan Heng’s face.
“Hi,” he answered, his hands shifting up and hovering, as if he didn’t know where to even begin. “What are you doing here, Caelus?” The question was said so particularly that Caelus had no idea how to even begin to decipher the meaning in it.
“I don’t know,” he admitted, honest, eyeing the way Dan Heng swallowed with tired eyes.
Everything hurt, the warm, musky scent that filled his nose helped a bit but he had no idea where it even came from or how to find more of it.
“Okay,” Dan Heng said, easy, a conflicted look crossing his face before he continued. “You should go somewhere else, see if you can get checked out by an-“ and panic so extreme it made Caelus’s knees weak filled him, overwhelming.
Dan Heng’s mouth shut with a click, the man giving him an alarmed look, and Caelus hissed in pain as another sharp pinch twisted in his stomach. “I don’t want to go somewhere else,” he rasped, tightening his arms around his midsection. He knew he must sound insane, especially with the looks Dan Heng had been giving him, but he felt as if he would die if he left the other man’s presence.
“Okay,” Dan Heng said, again, sounding as if he were trying to keep Caelus from losing his mind.
To be as fair as possible to the man, Caelus felt as if he were close to it.
“Not to be… judgmental,” Dan Heng began, and Caelus didn’t even have the energy to brace himself for words that may upset him. “But are you certain that you should be outside of your room during your heat?”
What?
Caelus blinked, trying to wrap his mind around the new term, just as foreign to him as half the things people talked about had been. Heat, his heat? If the pain in his gut was meant to be heat, he wouldn’t know. Pain simply felt like pain, and he wouldn’t describe it as particularly warm compared to other type of hurt.
“What do you mean?” He asked, wanting, for once, to receive a straight answer and not some sort of back handed explanation that brought more questions than anything else.
Dan Heng simply looked at him, and Caelus could almost see the way he mulled over his words. “You’re an omega, in heat. Are you certain that you should be out of your room, let alone talking to an alpha?”
Caelus did not enjoy being treated as if he were stupid, but he had a feeling he would need the next few explanations to be explicitly said to him. In graphic detail, if the agony in his gut was any indication of the severity of the situation. “What is an omega?” He asked, and was treated to the sight of Dan Heng’s expression shuttering shut as the man sighed, rubbing at the new tension in between his brows.
“I’m unsure if I should be the one to tell you this,” Dan Heng sounded wary, lacking confidence in a way that Caelus had never heard before, and he had to grit his teeth to keep from biting out a snarl.
(and since when had Caelus ever felt the urge to snarl before?)
“Just tell me, Dan Heng, please, I have no idea what’s happening.”
Thankfully, the man gave in, Caelus eyeing the furrow that formed in between his brows as he struggled to come up with an explanation for him.
“You,” Dan Heng paused, drawing the explanation out far longer than it needed to, and Caelus knew that his expression had to show his upset because the man carried on. “You’re an omega, and omegas go into heat every few months.” Which, in the grand scheme of things, explained nothing.
“I haven’t been alive for a few months,” Caelus said, and he watched as Dan Heng swallowed, the man suddenly looking incredibly awkward in the harsh light of the astral express. He had vague enough ideas of everything, enough that he wasn’t entirely clueless, but clearly he wasn’t knowledgeable enough.
“Okay,” Dan Heng began again, looking as if he would rather be doing anything than having this conversation.
Caelus almost felt bad for the man.
“There are secondary genders, and the secondary genders are alpha, beta, and omega.” That would have been helpful to know, Caelus could imagine that he had already fumbled more than a few social interactions from his lack of understanding. “I’m an alpha, you’re an omega, and Welt, I believe you’ve met him, is a beta.”
“What’s the difference between them all?” Caelus asked, absently rubbing at his stomach, trying to soothe out the worst of the pain that still tugged at his insides, insistent.
The way Dan Heng’s eyes darted down to follow the movement did not escape him.
“Like I said before, omegas go into heat.” Dan Heng said, shaking his heat, and Caelus knew he wasn’t in the best head space right now, but if a gun were held to his head, he would still say that the scent of cinnamon and dark chocolate followed the motion. “Heats are a sort of… fertility cycle.” He sounded distinctly awkward, and Caelus blanched, Dan Heng continuing. “They last for a few days and are known to be irritating.”
Dan Heng paused, tilting his head and breathing deeply for a moment, his brows furrowing.
Caelus wanted to preoccupy himself by thinking on what Dan Heng had just said, but he stared, having to remind himself to listen when he spoke again. “If I had to guess, I would say that you’re in pre-heat right now. It’s going to get worse before it gets better,” he looked uneasy. “I apologize, Caelus.” He moved to go back into his room, to shut the door behind himself and politely leave Caelus to his own devices.
Caelus lunging forward and grabbing the edge of the door prevented him from slamming it.
He watched as Dan Heng’s eyes widened, the man’s eye twitching minutely, and Caelus ignored it.
“How can I get it to go away faster?” Caelus wasn’t sure they had much time to just… toss away on his new issue. There had to be some way to resolve this and bypass the few days it would apparently put him out of commission for.
Dan Heng looked cagey at his question, though, but Caelus didn’t care, there had to be some way to resolve-
“An alpha would help you, generally.” He said, Caelus already nodding along in agreement. If Dan Heng were an alpha, it would make sense for him to be the one to give him a hand, right? “However, because heats are fertility cycles, the help would be… intimate.”
Oh.
Dan Heng was polite about it, looking as if he really, truly did not even wish to be talking about this, and Caelus could not help but feel a bit bad about forcing the answer from him.
However, there was still the issue of the time crunch on their hands.
“Would you be able to help me?” He asked, the request painfully blunt even to his own ears, and he quickly tried to backtrack at the look of alarm that overtook Dan Heng’s face. “Or if you don’t want to, do you know another alpha who can-“
“No,” Dan Heng cut him off, speaking over him, eyes intense. “You don’t need another alpha, if you want an alpha to get you through it faster, I can help you.” And Caelus swallowed, the ache in his gut turning into something… warmer than it had been before.
Maybe thats why it was called a “heat.”
“Alright,” he rasped, voice sticking in his throat for a moment before he forced the rest of his words out. “Should we tell March or Asta?”
“Not unless you really want to, no.” Dan Heng said, easy enough. “They should find out sooner or later regardless of what we say.” Fair point, Caelus could imagine that their secret wouldn’t be kept for very long.
He nodded, pausing for a moment, almost unable to look at Dan Heng’s form, the man having shifted to fully face him, bolder than he had been in the entire time since they had begun talking. “Do we… need anything to start?” Caelus was going in entirely blind here, but he could imagine that Dan Heng knew about as much on the matter as he did, perhaps even less.
There was a long, long pause that hovered in the air for a while, and Caelus almost began to worry that he had said something wrong before Dan Heng spoke again. “No, there shouldn’t be anything that we would need that we don’t already have on us.” Fair enough.
“Then should we,” he trailed off, watching as Dan Heng opened his door further to him, offering Caelus his room if he wanted to go in.
“We can,” Dan Heng said, easy, still giving him an out despite Caelus showing his interest already, and some part of him could not help but feel flattered at the way Dan Heng thought the invitation through.
The other part of him kept more growing desperate, though, wanting to listen to the man and show him just how well he could follow his lead. How embarrassing, Caelus had never been the sort to do that (at least, as long as he had been aware enough to be himself) and the fact that some part of him felt that way made him feel almost uneasy.
The way Dan Heng held his door open for him to come through brushed away the last of his reserves, though, and Caelus poked his way inside, eyeing the room that he’d seen the interior of a few times already.
Something about it felt different this time, and it made sense, considering that it was different, and the intention of his presence inside this space had shifted. But, beyond that, it simply felt stranger than it had before, and the way Dan Heng’s palm awkwardly settled onto his shoulder proved it to him.
It wasn’t as if Caelus was unresponsive, though, the way his stomach tightened and warmth began trickling through his veins was enough for him to know what he felt.
And, if his newer, more keen sense of smell was to be trusted, he could tell that Dan Heng felt similarly.
The scent of the man's room as well was far, far more overwhelming now than it had been before. Caelus had no idea what had been missing, if it had been just his heat or what, but the warm, inviting scent of Dan Heng seemed to almost coat the space with its heavy presence. Caelus swallowed, briefly overwhelmed, and he could hear Dan Heng make a noise at that, soft.
He almost didn't want to look at the man, some part of him suddenly shy, though Caelus had never felt shy before.
"You're still alright?" Dan Heng asked, quiet, and Caelus nodded, damn near overeager to prove to the man that he wasn't hiding any sort of apprehension.
"I am," he said, shifting enough to grip at the edge of Dan Heng's coat, the man's eyes trailing down to where Caelus's fingers clutched at the fabric. "I'm fine, just," he stumbled over his words, fighting to figure out what exactly to say. Dan Heng, thankfully, was patient, and allowed Caelus the time to figure out just how much he wished to embarrass himself today. "It just smells... strongly of you in here, that's all." He paused, unable to look up at Dan Heng's eyes, not knowing what would meet him.
With the way Dan Heng had suddenly gone still, Caelus feared that perhaps his apprehension had been for the best. "Not in a bad way, don't worry about-" Dan Heng put him out of his misery, his hand coming up to Caelus's face and delicately touching at the jut of his jawline, directing Caelus to look at him, look him in the eyes.
The other man's eyes were a clear, clear grey. Still and calm and enough of a shock to Caelus' system that he paused again, newly flustered.
"I like that you can smell me," Dan Heng said, the confession as easy as if he were just breathing.
"Good," Caelus swallowed. "I like being able to know that this room is yours," and what an odd confession for him to make. If he were more shameless he would elaborate, but if Caelus' past behavior was any indication of what was to come, he was going to lose the last shreds of his self control soon enough.
Something shifted in Dan Heng at that, the man straightening up, his eyes darting around his own room for a brief moment before he spoke, sounding incensed. “Alright, well, I don’t have much in the way of items that can be used for nesting. What I do have should be workable, though.” He looked a bit pained, barreling on, Caelus still trying to wrap his head around the term nesting as he did so. “If there are any issues I can always look through the Astral Express and see if I can find any spare supplies.”
Caelus furrowed his brows, pausing for a moment. “Nesting?” He settled on asking, hoping that Dan Heng would be able to elaborate further.
“Just-“ Dan Heng said, strangled, Caelus able to see the sudden tension in his body. “My bed, just go lay down and rest for a bit. You’ll need it for when your heat really starts.”
How evasive. Caelus would tease him on it if the idea of rolling himself in Dan Heng’s sheets didn’t suddenly seem so appealing.
Well, he would get his answers sooner or later. Caelus would prod them out of Dan Heng or another member of the express eventually. For now, he nodded, conceding, and stared at the way Dan Heng’s shoulders minutely relaxed.
Caelus would bother him about that later, when it didn’t feel almost painful to keep himself from Dan Heng’s… floor mattress.
✩
Caelus did not remember falling asleep, but he was intimately aware of when he woke up.
Pain lanced through him, so sharp it bordered on hot, and he gasped, panic shooting through him and fuck, he had been warned that it would get worse, hadn’t he? His body burned, aching, Caelus so preoccupied with the pain that he hardly heard the sound of another person growing closer.
He startled, jolting, looking up from where he’d gotten tangled in the sheets and feeling an indescribable wave of relief pass over him at the sight of a concerned Dan Heng. “Hi,” the man said, sounding tentative for once, almost shocking Caelus past the point of return. “Are you alright?”
And he tried to open his mouth, tried to respond in a way that was reasonable, but all that left him was a short “come here,” that Dan Heng was blessedly quick to obey.
He couldn’t have even tried to keep himself from shuddering in anticipation when the man sunk to his knees, crawling into bed with him. Caelus watched, mouth feeling dry, as Dan Heng pulled up the duvet he’d gotten tangled up in and invited himself inside.
He was in different clothes, softer, more casual than normal. Caelus felt dizzy with the knowledge that while he had been asleep, Dan Heng had changed.
And he was warm. The fever burning through Caelus already made him feel hot and sticky, but Dan Heng seemed to radiate warmth.
Despite the fact that Caelus felt as if he were about to burst into flames, he still shifted to grab at Dan Heng’s shirt, clutching at him, wanting to siphon more of his heat. Dan Heng let Caelus do whatever he wished, a low noise building in the back of his throat when Caelus allowed himself the pleasure of shoving his face into the side of his neck.
The scent of cinnamon and dark chocolate was back, but different now, stronger. It held a new edge of cloves and something earthier, muskier, rich enough that it made Caelus’s mouth water.
His gut burned, aching, and he didn’t know how to get it to stop.
“Wha’s happening?” He slurred, tongue sticky and lazy, and as Dan Heng moved to brush his hair off of his face, he almost drooled.
“Your heat,” Dan Heng said, simple, as if Caelus’s brain wasn’t currently melting from his ears.
The pain had lessened, just a bit, and Caelus would bet money on the fact that it was from how close Dan Heng had pressed them together ever since Caelus had pressed his face into his throat. “I’m hot,” he said, unable to keep the misery out of his voice, melting when Dan Heng ran his fingers through his scalp again.
“That’s why they call it a heat,” Dan Hen said, and Caelus could hear the small air of amusement in his voice. Warmth burned in his stomach, coiling and tugging at his insides, Caelus hiding a whine in Dan Heng’s heated skin.
It still hurt, their earlier conversation at the forefront of his mind. Caelus nudged his nose against the tendon of Dan Heng’s throat, trying to… encourage something, goad the man further, see if he would take the step without Caelus having to press him for it. Thankfully, blessedly, Dan Heng wormed one of his hands down to Caelus’s front, idly pressing the flat of his palm against the taut skin of his stomach. The contact was enough to draw another whimper from him, his hands moving up to clutch at Dan Heng’s clothes, and he could feel it when the other man let out a shuddery breath.
“Can I-?” Dan Heng trailed off, Caelus automatically jumping to answer, nodding against his skin, unable to keep his excitement from his movements. “Lean back onto the bed,” Dan Heng said, Caelus rushing to follow the instruction, even if it burned to pull his face away from where Dan Heng’s scent was the strongest.
The other man followed him down, propping himself up on one arm while his other kept its spot against Caelus’s skin. It was hard, impossible, really, to maintain eye contact with Dan Heng, the man’s gaze searching and intense as ever.
Caelus was already so hard it hurt and they hadn’t even done anything.
Dan Heng’s fingers toyed with the edges of Caelus’s pants for a moment, indecisive, before they dipped beneath the fabric, even below his boxers, touching at his bare skin. Everywhere Dan Heng touched felt as if it were on fire, Caelus wasn’t sure he would be able to survive this.
“Can you take these off?” He asked, politely demanding, and Caelus rushed to obey, even if his movements were sluggish and sloppy. Dan Heng had to help him the last part of the way, tugging off Caelus’s clothing from his ankles and tossing it to some corner of his room.
He didn’t have it in him to be conscious of the way his everything was exposed, he just wanted to be touched again.
Thankfully, Dan Heng was quick with it, slipping in between his thighs and staring down at him, gaze intense, and Caelus was simply grateful that he had never been the type to be concerned with others’ thoughts. He was also grateful for the attention.
“You’re wet already,” Dan Heng said, content with pointing out the obvious, Caelus feeling his face heat at the comment.
He knew that precum had already begun beading at the tip of his cock, but Dan Heng’s comment pertained to… lower.
Caelus’s body had never done that before.
It hadn’t done a lot of things before.
He settled on grunting, the barest minimum of a response, but Dan Heng took it without complaint. He smoothed one of his palms over Caelus’s thigh, the warmth of his hand causing goosebumps to trail down his arms, and he huffed out a sigh, unable to keep himself from savoring the sensation. His other hand slipped between his thighs, down past his cock.
Caelus was unable to hide the way he startled when Dan Heng pressed the pads of his fingers against his hole, as exploratory and gentle as ever.
A breath left him, tremulous and quiet, Dan Heng quiet in response, focusing on his new task.
Caelus felt as if he were important, as if the very task of touching him was sacred to Dan Heng in some sort of way.
It wasn’t a bad feeling, not at all, just different.
It was quiet between them, neither of them having anything to say or point out to the other, and Caelus was grateful, in a way. It kept him from embarrassing himself as Dan Heng circled his fingers around his rim, testing the waters, as if he were trying to pull Caelus apart as gently as possible.
When he pressed his fingers in, Caelus saw stars.
He gasped, his own fingers gripping at the sheets, rumpling them in his hand. Looking at Dan Heng made his heart stutter in his chest, the man’s eyes as intense as ever, his gaze turning heated, and Caelus couldn’t help the way he arched against the sheets as the man edged his two fingers in further, not bothering to open him up before going for the second one along with the first.
There was a burn, heavy and warm inside him, but even if the immediate jump made him ache inside, it dulled the worst of the pain from the cramps.
”Oh,” he gasped, the sound leaving him in a whirl. Dan Heng hummed, the sound deeper, darker than it had been before. Caelus could do nothing but take it as he eased his fingers out a bit, the barest minimum of prep, before pressing them in again, going further this time.
Whenever Dan Heng would brush against some part inside of him that felt so good it burned, Caelus would have to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from being louder than he already was.
It scratched an itch inside him, fingers burning a line through his guts, and Caelus had to swallow the saliva that pooled in his mouth. “Dan Heng,” he rasped, the name hardly more than a whisper, and the alpha adjusted himself, shifting to press closer against Caelus, but staying as quiet as ever as he bullied the spot inside him that ached.
Dan Heng was focused, almost severe in the way he pulled apart the threads of Caelus’s self control.
When Dan Heng managed a third finger, edging all of them inside until his knuckles met Caelus’s skin, he shuddered, his thighs falling further apart, trying to goad Dan Heng into hurrying up.
The man was good at listening, obeying the silent request. Caelus gasped as he eased his fingers out, clenching down around nothing and shivering at the feel of… slick dripping from his hole. “You’re still alright, right?” Dan Heng asked, speaking for the first time in forever, and Caelus felt heat spread across his cheeks at the sound of his voice.
It had gone deeper, darker in his throat, colored with intent, and all he could do was nod.
He wasn’t sure he would be able to survive if Dan Heng didn’t finish the job.
Dan Heng laid Caelus’s thighs against his own, having him bracket his hips with his legs and Caelus allowed himself to be manhandled, hoping that it would press him to go quicker. “Okay,” Dan Heng said, voice sticking in his throat, sounding as if he were bracing himself, and Caelus nodded, nonsensical, only knowing that he wanted Dan Heng inside of him more than anything else in the world.
He watched, eyes intense, as Dan Heng shifted the tiniest bit, enough to slip his own pants far enough down that he could get his cock out, not bothering with taking it all off.
Thank the Aeons.
Caelus blinked, unable to keep from staring, taking in the way Dan Heng was hard, the tip of his cock blushing a deep color, precum already leaking from the tip and sticking to the inside of his underwear as he pulled it off.
One of Dan Heng’s hand gripped at his thigh, the underside of it, up near the junction of his knee, the other holding onto his own cock as he lined himself up with Caelus’s entrance. The feel of him against his hole was enough to have his mouth watering again, and when Dan Heng exhaled and pressed himself inside, Caelus had to shut his eyes and lean back into the sheets, already worn.
His breath hitched when Dan Heng eased in further, and it felt as if he was going to burn to death.
Dan Heng, thankfully, shifted, deep enough now that he could use his hands for something else. All the air in his lungs punched its way from Caelus’s throat when Dan Heng moved, inching in further, so thick and heavy he could feel it in his stomach. ”Ah,” he gasped, trying to draw in a ragged gasp of air, Dan Heng’s hands coming up to bracket the sides of Caelus’s head and he had no idea what was happening until Dan Heng’s lips were pressed against his own.
Caelus let go of where he’d been strangling the sheets, wrapping his arms around Dan Heng’s shoulders instead as he opened his mouth, deepening the kiss enough that the sounds became filthy.
He could taste the cinnamon and chocolate, the musky scent from before sticking between them, coating the air and his tongue and he felt as if he would choke on it. Caelus groaned, Dan Heng answering him, shifting again, pressing Caelus further into the sheets enough that the metal of the mattress springs whined beneath them.
His entire body ached, overwhelmed and consumed entirely by the heat thrumming in his veins, sparkling through him, feeling like when Serval had shocked him, giving him an example of how electrocution felt. All Caelus could do was spread his legs further and take it, his ass brushing against the fabric of Dan Heng’s pants that he’d just shoved down his thighs.
Everything felt wet, sticky, cloying to the touch. Fevered, he felt fevered, and shifting to grip at Dan Heng’s hair with one hand and scratch at his shoulders with the other only helped the smallest bit.
Their lips slid apart, and Caelus gasped, gasping again when Dan Heng immediately shifted to mouth at the side of his jaw, pressing insistent kisses against him, the scrape of his teeth on his skin was enough to have him threatening to shake apart against the sheets.
When Dan Heng’s hips finally hit Caelus’s ass, bottoming out, his thighs trembled. He was thick inside him, thick and heavy and Caelus could feel the vein that trailed along the underside of his cock.
“You’re tight,” Dan Heng rasped, the words almost lost, connecting in his mind late, and Caelus groaned in response, arching against the sheets as Dan Heng pulled out the smallest bit before thrusting back into him. He felt slick, overwhelmed, and the way Dan Heng licked at the side of his throat before pressing an open-mouthed kiss against it had him shuddering.
He wasn’t going to last long at all, not with the way his cock kept leaking from where it was pressed in between their bodies, entirely forgotten. Not with the way the steady drag of Dan Heng’s cock threatened to take him apart, now that the man had started a rhythm. “More,” he said, his voice a half-sob as he demanded it, Dan Heng simply nodding and doing as he was told.
Dan Heng moved a hand to his hip, gripping at him hard enough that it wrenched a mewl from his chest.
“You’re a-“ Dan Heng started, cutting himself off with a thrust hard enough that Caelus’s toes curled. “-good omega.”
He had little idea what it meant to be a good omega but if Dan Heng thought that he was one, then Caelus wanted it. He wanted to be one, wanted to be a good omega for the other man, especially if he would keep this up if Caelus behaved.
“Dan Heng,” he said, unable to say anything beyond the alpha’s name, not when the heat began pooling in his gut, growing past the point where it could be ignored. He felt wet, slick coating his thighs and the sheets beneath him, his breaths faltering as Dan Heng fucked into him, starved, as if he would die if he weren’t inside him.
He could feel the way Dan Heng gripped at him, tight, squeezing and kneading at Caelus’s skin, just touching at him. He shuddered, sensitive, tightening down against his cock, something in his chest faltering at the way it felt… bigger?
A moan left him, thin and reedy, and he turned his head, searching for Dan Heng, only able to see the gunmetal gray of his eyes before pressing a frantic kiss against the edge of his lips, unable to reach them as another thrust from Dan Heng rucked him forward a bit. It wasn’t his imagination though, even when he locked his legs around the alpha’s back, pulling him closer, Caelus could tell that his cock had gotten larger.
“What’s-“ he trailed off, a moan filtering from his throat as Dan Heng pressed forward again, dragging his cock through the slick that seemed endless. Dan Heng’s breath hitched, tight in his chest, and Caelus forced himself to go on, even when his stomach began twitching, his cock threatening to spill itself. “Why’s your dick-?”
He couldn’t finish his sentence, Dan Heng moving to wrap a sloppy, uncoordinated hand around his cock was enough to do him in. The callouses of his palm against the oversensitive skin was almost painful but the stars that burst behind his eyelids as he came onto their stomachs made it worth it.
“-knot,” was all he managed to catch of whatever Dan Heng had said, Caelus just nodding dumbly, writhing as Dan Heng kept fucking into him, chasing his own high.
His cock was heavier, thicker, Caelus unable to keep saliva from slipping out the corner of his mouth as he felt it.
One final, sharp thrust into him and a frantic groan leaving Dan Heng’s mouth was all it took. The heaviness from before mounted and the fit of his cock inside him was tight enough that he had to force himself to relax. It was large, so, so large, enough that he could feel it in his throat, threatening to choke him. Caelus gasped at the sensation of being filled, at the way liquid warmth coated his insides and the way Dan Heng laid the rest of his weight down on top of him, damn near smothering him in his scent and warmth.
It took all of Caelus’s effort to even breathe, let alone think. He was content just to breathe, though, feeling more clear-headed than he had since this entire heat thing had started.
Dan Heng pressing his nose against the side of his jaw and kissing at his throat again was what made him speak, one of his hands snaking up to toy with the alpha’s hair as he did so. “Heats last for a few days, right?” He just… had to be sure.
A small laugh was huffed out against his skin, another shudder running through him, expectant. “Yes, they do.” Dan Heng hadn’t pulled out yet, still inside him, but Caelus still shifted his hips, testing the waters.
The way his cock twitched inside him was enough of an answer, and heat began to tug at his insides again when he felt the tiniest bit of wetness leak from his hole.
“We’ll have to be careful to pace ourselves,” he said, serious, but unable to keep the grin from his face when Dan Heng squeezed at his hips again with fingers that felt far larger inside of him than they did outside.
