Asami was laying on the bed in her dorm, scrolling through her phone mindlessly. She’d just completed her last assignment and emailed it to her professor and was taking full advantage of her free time. A yawn escaped her, and she set aside her phone. Just as she slipped beneath the covers and got comfortable, there was a knock on her door, followed by a familiar voice.
“Hey, Sams, you still up?” Korra called out.
“Yes,” Asami replied. A moment later the door opened, and her girlfriend stepped inside. Korra was dressed in a blue tank top and matching shorts.
“Oh, I didn’t wake you did I?” She asked, sounding concerned.
“Nope, I was just about to take a nap if you want to join me,” Asami answered with a smile. Korra hurriedly kicked off her shoes and climbed onto the bed. She slid under the covers beside Asami, and immediately snuggled up against her. Asami kissed her gently, wrapping an arm around her torso. Korra let out a contented sigh as she laid her head on Asami’s chest. It wasn’t long before Korra’s soft snores filled the dorm.
Just as Asami was about to drift off, a second knock sounded on her door.
“Who is it?” She asked, trying not to wake Korra. The door opened and Kuvira peaked her head inside.
“Hey, my class ended early so I thought I’d drop by,” Kuvira said with a grin. “Mind if I join you two?”
“Of course.” Asami pulled off the covers. Korra groaned in complaint, one eye popping open. It flicked from Asami to Kuvira.
“Hey, Vira.” Korra greeted her sleepily. “Come join the cuddle pile.” She added, holding a hand out towards the other woman. Kuvira smiled, kicked off her shoes, then took Korra’s hand and allowed herself to be pulled on top of the other two. She pressed a loving kiss first to Asami’s cheek, then Korra’s.
“Spirits, I’ve missed you both,” Kuvira whispered as Asami draped the covers over their tangled bodies. Korra grunted in agreement.
“There’s no place I’d rather be than right here with my two favorite girls,” Asami replied, wrapping her free arm around Kuvira and pulling her in closer. It was a little awkward fitting the three of them onto her bed, but they’d had plenty of practice at it. Kuvira shifted herself to a comfortable position, before laying her head down on Asami’s shoulder. Her breath tickled Asami’s neck.
It wasn’t long before all three of them were fast asleep.
