Only one bed can fit in the camper van.
Ren would be damned if he let Doc sleep on the ground again.
Doc was embarrassed as he was dragged into bed. Ren laid beside him. Ren had a look in his eyes and his eyes on Doc's lips.
Doc looked at him almost expectantly. Ren moved closer for a kiss.
Doc broke the distance and kissed him on the lips.
Then looked away as quickly as he could then put a pillow between their faces.
Ren sat up and put his head on that pillow scooting closer.
Doc lifted him up and pushed him over, putting a pillow where his torso would go with a chuckle and he was blushing harder.
Ren scooted down and slipped under the pillow wall and got close to Doc's legs then scooted up so he was at Doc's torso. Do groaned then looked at Ren. They were both blushing and smiling.
Doc took a pillow from Ren's side and put it under Ren's head. Accepting he couldn't win. He just met in bliss with Ren feeling like he was missing something.
Ren smiled and Doc could feel it in his chest. He knew he had to say something now.
"I-" Doc stuttered. Ren hugged him closer; Giving the push Doc needed. So he took a deep breath and said:
"Ren, I need you as a lover." Doc pulled him up with fear creeping in his chest.
Ren just grabbed him behind the head and used his new handheld to pull himself closer. He put his leg over Doc's thigh, his arm under Doc's pillow and the other on Doc's arm until Doc put his arm on Ren's torso.
He looked into Doc's eye and smiled " You got it dude."
Doc pulled him closer, their noses touching.
Doc then asked " May- I have a kiss. " He was blushing and slightly scared when Ren didn't react immediately. Ren then obliged and it was lips to lips crashing down on each other. Doc opened his eyes and saw Ren's face in a light smile. Doc pinned him down further. Ren opened his eyes and pulled back.
"Can we flip over?" Ren whispered.
Doc stood up pinning Ren down and put himself on top gently.
Ren smiled and stroked Doc's head. He smiled as Doc started kissing him. Ren brought him down further then Doc made the kisses more intense. Ren was in a flurry of emotions. Mostly good but Ren still wanted him off. "Doc I love you but this is too much. sorry dude."
Doc smiled and gently let himself off of Ren. Flopping over beside him Doc then turned Ren on his side and Doc smiled to break the tension "No problem we went fast. I'm proud of you." Doc was still smiling as Ren observed him.
Still staring, Ren took a shaky breath and asked
"Doc in all seriousness how do you feel about me? I know you said you loved me but I'm scared."
Doc grabbed him gently and started hugging him. It was firm but not hurtful. It was reassuringly kind and warm even with the metal arm. It surprised Ren when Doc spoke again.
"I don't want you to feel scared. I truly love you. I think that I can be scary and easily mad. I know you saw that side of me and still love me and vice versa."
Doc put his head on Ren's and they were both content until Ren got up the courage to speak again
"How do you feel about me?" Ren was hesitant, scared and Doc nearly didn't hear him.
Doc moved backward onto the bed easing Ren's body on his. Then he lifted Ren's head up gently, the brown eyes weary with fear. Doc smiled and gently spoke to Ren in a lovers tone.
"We're not perfect but, I'm honored to be yours."
Ren smiled and kissed Doc's cheek. Doc smiled and leaned back and put Ren onto The mattress beside him as Ren drifted off to
sleep.
Making sure Ren was asleep he left the bed and grabbed a welding blanket to put on Ren's front side as he worked
Doc put his heavy welding coat and gloves on and put a welding helmet on Ren.
Ren was easy to move and Ren opened his eyes after he got the helmet on.
Doc noticed this and whispered
"Go to sleep. Early morning." Doc was smiling and Ren was going to fake it, so he closed his eyes and breathed.
Doc chuckled lightly and lifted up his leg to put a board under it. Once the welding board was in place he braced himself and gently took out some wires to improve the sense and found no place to attach them.
He cussed he had to gently rewire the program that controlled touch to the backside of his leg where had his to maximize efficiency.
"Early morning Doc, we need to sleep, we can finish this tomorrow."
Doc cussed again he should have known Ren would notice.
He took the helmet off of Ren. while he took the board out from under himself then Doc turned off the machine and they kissed again. They went to sleep on a seperate pillows, slightly nervous about tomorrow.
Black surrounded Doc in a dreamless sleep. Until he was met with an unfamiliar ceiling and a weight on his chest. His mind switched into gear remembering last night. He looked down to see Ren euphoria and love blooming in his chest Then a light rage.
He didn't know why he felt this way.
He felt Ren wake up but Ren just kept his hands on Doc trying not to alert him.
They heard the beginning of an alarm and Doc turned it off. He also tried to get up but was met with a soft kiss and a smile from Ren.
Doc smiled in return. "I love you." It sounded like a confession.
Ren looked him in the eyes and kissed him again. " I love you too. Dude"
"I never thought dude could be sexy" Doc replied earning a small honest laugh from Ren and that sound meant the world to him.
Then Doc understood.
He didn't want to lose a single moment with Ren and wanted to make him as healthy and happy as he could.
