Aether and Paimon had been walking for days on the holy lands of Modstadt. Every day it was a new adventure: attacking raids of hilichurls or helping the people of Modstadt with their daily commissions.
Today as they were exploring they found a new group of hilichurls. The hilichurls were relaxing and didn't seem to be doing much, some were laying on the grass resting while others were doing their special dance in the middle of a bonfire.
”Those hilichurls are up to no good”, said Paimon to Aether, ”they’re definitely plotting something!”
”Paimon wait here”. Aether quickly leaves to attack the gang of hilichurls. At first, he had the upper hand with his quick moves and his Ameno attacks, but suddenly reinforcements with not only hilichurls but also with Samachurls and Mitachurls appeared.
Aether was already tired and still wasn't used to his Anemo powers so decided the best course of action was to run. He quickly grabbed Paimon from her hiding spot and the two friends, one running the other floating, ran away as fast as they could.
The group of hilichurls, samachurls, and mitachurls soon started following them and it seemed they were about to pick up with them real quick.
The enemies saw the two friends make a turn and they soon also made a turn. Making the turn the gang of hilichurls noticed the two intruders weren't there anymore. The enemies confused tried looking for them, but soon gave up and retreated to their base.
In a hole, 60 feet below resided both Paimon and Aether who fell down the pit while running away from their enemies. They were tired of running and were breathing heavily. Soon recovering their breath they saw their situation and looked at the crater they were inside. At a glance, the pit didn't seem much, but if you looked carefully you could see there was a cave surrounded by darkness.
”What do we do we’re completely stuck down here with a dark scary cave! Who knows what resides there!”, Paimon was starting to get scared and hugged Aether's head abruptly.
Aether pushed her away and comforted her. ”It’s okay we’re gonna get off here, first of all, it seems we’re gonna need help...”.
Paimon became paranoid and quickly interrupted Aether, ”We’re stuck here! Paimon will never have the taste of a Sweet Madame again!”
”Calmed down Paimon. First of all, I'm the one who will need help and your gonna look for it”.
”How can Paimon look for help if Paimon is also stuck! Hmm!”, Paimon head turned sideway trying to ignore Aether
”Aren’t you forgetting a thing?”
”What can Paimon forget?”
Aether looked at Paimon as if the answer was obvious. ”You can fly Paimon, are you forgetting?”
”Oooh!”, Paimon smiled innocently at Aether and started floating once again, ”Hihi... I forgot”.
”So Paimon will go looking for some help and Aether stays here waiting for Paimon the hero to save the day!”
”Exactly! Paimon the hero please save my poor soul from this terrifying pit!”, Aether exaggerated his tone and expression just for Paimon to gain more courage and look for help.
”Ok, you just wait for Paimon”, Paimon started flying out of the cave, ”Don’t let the enemies catch you while Paimon’s gone”.
With that Paimon left leaving Aether alone in the pit. Aether tried to rest while waiting for Paimon. He was tired, the fight and the fall he took in the pit weren't easy ones. The only thing he wanted was to sleep at this moment.
He closed his eyes waiting for sleep to take over him, but suddenly he felt a drop of a liquid fall on his face. He ignored it but the drop became two drops and then four. Aether quickly opened his eyes to see what it was, just for him to be faced with a huge slime.
A slime the size of a Matachurl was right in front of him. He was surprised by how big the slime was and quickly parted himself from it.
If Aether had been in good health as before the fight with the hilichurls he wouldn't have hesitated to fight the massive slime in front of him. But now the fight had taken a big load on him and the fall to the pit didn't help, he needed healing and quickly.
Aether tried to climb himself to the top of the pit, but soon fell being trapped by the slime and taken away inside the cave.
The cave was dark and the only source of dim light was the slime. He was taken by the slime and could feel his body being covered by the slimy body.
Finally getting inside the cave. Aether wasn't surprised to see the cave full of slimes of all sizes, small and big. He was placed in the middle of them already his body full of slime.

Immediately tiny slimes started to come out of the traveler’s hole. They wouldn't stop coming he couldn't stop the fact that he was giving birth to a bunch of slimes. Every time a slime came out, his hole would get bigger for the slime to come out and then immediately close once the slime got out. He still had a huge belly but not as big as before. The last slime was the massive that had entered inside him, the traveler knew he had to get it out to and started pushing once more.
The force applied was intense. It seemed the slime didn't want to let go of their new breeder because the slime didn't want to get out it kept himself inside no matter how hard Aether pushed. Aether started to use his hands to push down his belly wanting to force the slime out but all was fruitless, the slime persisted and kept itself inside Aether’s belly.
Aether gave up but soon came with another idea. He rubbed his belly softly and told the slime, ”Please come out... I'll keep lending my body... I just need to rest...”
Even with the low intelligence a slime had; the slime knew that its breeder was on the border of death, but will be fine if it left him to rest. Obediently, the slime left Aether’s body and left him to rest.
Aether with all the events occurring today could finally rest his body and fell asleep only hoping Paimon will soon return with help.

”Come Diluc over here!”, Paimon returns at the entrance of the pit with Diluc behind her.
”So he's down there?”, Diluc asked.
”Yes, you go down there while Paimon waits here where it's safe”, Paimon grinned.
”Fine by me”
With those words, Diluc threw himself at the 60 ft deep pit with the help of a glider.
Once reaching down the pit Diluc saw no trace of Aether. He saw the pit also had a cave and went down to look for the lost traveler.
He reached a point in the cave where it was surrounded by a group of slimes, he saw the slimes were surrounding something he couldn't glimpse at due to the number of slimes covering his view. He soon took off half of the slimes disrupting his path and got to the middle of the commotion. He was shocked.
In the middle, he saw Aether unconscious fully naked with a pitiful look on his face, he was covered with slime all over his body. His body needed healing, the sooner the better.
A black aura could be seen coming out of Diluc's body. He looked menacingly at the rest of the slimes inside the cave and started killing every single one of them.
When he finished he took out his black suit and used it to cover the naked body of the traveler while also picking him up in a princess-style way.
He left the cave and the pit with the vulnerable Aether in his arms and the cave was left in a hell of fire that lasted three days.
