Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman struggles with her bloodline. Vi struggles with changes she never asked for, or wanted. And against the backdrop of the Arcane universe, a creature stalks the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun. Feasting on unsuspecting citizens, draining them of blood.
A close-to-canon re-imagining of Arcane, with werewolves and vampires! The goal is to have *** weekly updates *** so look forward to that.
Arc 1 is all world-building and re-telling a few of the major pre-series and Season 1 Act 1 stuff, so please have faith! I won't let you down!
The story title is a play on the lines from Ode, "We are the music-makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams," as made famous by Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971).

Vi shifted beside her, head resting against her hands as she stared at the sky.
“There,” Vi’s voice broke the silence, her hand pointing upwards.
Caitlyn followed her direction. “Orion,” she whispered, turning slightly.
Vi smirked, her eyes never leaving the stars. “The Hunter… it reminds me of you.”
Caitlyn smiled, slowly inching closer to Vi, drawn to the steady heat that emanated from the knight.
“There’s another,” Vi breathed, pointing to a cluster of stars.
Caitlyn’s gaze darted across the sky. After a moment, she shook her head. “Where?”
“Here,” Vi murmured, offering her hand.
Caitlyn glanced to it for a moment, before lacing their hands together. The golden band on Vi’s ring finger caught the pale light of the moon as they moved.
After a moment she stilled, squeezing Caitlyn’s hand gently.
Caitlyn squinted, realisation soon dawning in her pupils. “Lupus...” she whispered, turning back to Vi.
Vi was already watching her, an intensity in her gaze that stole the air from Caitlyn’s lungs. Caitlyn edged closer, Vi’s breath ghosting over her lips.
“We’re struck amongst the stars,” Vi whispered, “the Hunter, and the Wolf.”

Grayson's words echoed in her mind, a promise of danger and honor intertwined, as the city's shadows loomed with unknown threats and hidden secrets.
