Summary
Not long after the Third Reich secures his first economic alliance with the USSR, he invites the Russian for a friendly, casual visit to a café in Vienna that both countries used to frequent when they were younger. Unfortunately, the weather isn't the most pleasant on the day of, but this doesn't bother either of them - in fact, the German goes on a rant about his love for rain, though perhaps divulges too much to his new ally.

Summary
The Third Reich is dead. The Soviet Union was the first to find him, and had every intent to keep the Nazi’s rotting body for himself - a secret from the Allies - in the name of closure and revenge. When he returns from a momentary distraction, Reich's corpse is no longer there. Soviet is cursed to search for him for the rest of his existence, unable to move on.
Life eventually continues again for the other nations, even those who were irreparably changed by the war. Soviet’s unyielding grip on the past only serves to cause him and those around him more grief. Someday, he finds himself to be truly alone in the cold embrace of death - not quite at peace, though ready to accept fate.
Soviet awakens in some strange limbo; an afterlife, and discovers he’s far from the only one here. He is also given the opportunity to have all his questions answered by the very nation who spurred them, but he’s not sure if he’s ready.
OR: 5 times the USSR unconsciously looked for Reich in other nations, and the 1 time he found him. Also a really, really lengthy prologue.
