Summary
The fact that those who hail from the planet Stewjon have the ability to transform into wolves under the light of a full moon has never had much of an impact on Anakin's relationship with his Stewjoni master, which is something he's always chalked up to Obi-Wan's incredible and ironclad capacity for self-control.
But when a war-time sighting of Count Dooku takes them to a planet with nine moons, even Anakin can admit that his master's self-control is...fraying.
And that's before Dooku holds a saber to his neck and threatens to take his life.
When Obi-Wan's response to this is to rip Dooku's throat out with his teeth, Anakin is forced to reflect on the possibility that maybe he and his master's relationship has always been a bit affected by the whole wolf thing.
And that's before Obi-Wan looks at him and calls him mate.

A Sith has been killed. That's the only thing Dooku tells Obi-Wan. When Vader doesn't get in contact with him for hours after,Darth Ventus is terrified that it may have been his secret lover who fell to a Jedi's blade.
It's not, but now Obi-Wan is demanding a force bond between himself and his partner so that will never happen again. The only problem is that Darth Sidious, Anakin's master, would never allow something like that.
Good thing Sith have no compunctions about murder.
