Hi,” was all he managed, as his brain desperately tried to reconcile this person—this very tall, very broad, very hot person, Jesus fucking Christ—with the Mr. Buckley that Chris rambled about constantly, the one who loved Lord of the Rings and was an endless repository of fun animal facts. Eddie kissed him again, softer and wetter, running his tongue over the seam of Evan’s lips. Evan melted. When Eddie spoke again, he melted even further, practically a puddle at his feet. “I like you. And maybe this is just all in my head and you’re thinking I’m an absolute freak and can’t wait to get out of here but—”
“But maybe I like you, too,” Evan interjected.
Eddie smiled. Radiant. “Yeah?”
