Summary
“Where is the boy, Cat?” the Lord of Winterfell asked, his eyes dull and lifeless.
“Ned… the boy…” Catelyn tried, her voice faltering.
“It was Sansa’s fault—and her stupid friend’s!” Arya shouted, her face streaked with tears, anger blazing through them.
“That’s not true! I didn’t mean to—I was afraid!” Sansa cried back, her voice breaking.
Arya lunged for her. Robb caught her around the waist, holding her fast as she thrashed.
“Let me go! You gave the order—you’re just as guilty as she is!”
Robb flinched as if struck.
“I trusted you,” Arya choked, her voice splintering. “For once, I trusted you instead of Jon… and now it’s my fault too.”
The words seemed to drain what little strength she had left. She sagged in Robb’s grip, sobbing, her small frame trembling.
Eddard Stark did not move. He stood where he was, face carved from stone, as if none of it had touched him.
“WHERE IS MY BOY?!” he roared at last, something his family had never heard before.Far to the south of Winterfell—far beyond even the Trident—and, strangely, many years before, another voice cried out those same words.
And stranger still… it was the same boy they spoke of.Bookmarked by littletinybookworm

Summary
After the death of her daughter, Princess Rhaenys Velaryon Targaryen looked to her legacy.
On one hand stood three boys with dark hair and even darker eyes. On the other stood two girls with dark skin, moon-touched hair and the blood of House Velaryon running plainly through their veins.
The choice seemed obvious.
Princess Rhaenys Velaryon Targaryen would petition the Iron Throne, no pretender would sit the Driftwood Throne.
She wins.
Some victories are indistinguishable from defeat.
But history only remembers names.

Summary
Shane Hollander has spent his entire life trying not to be noticed. In a city where magic runs the streets and monsters run the rest, that’s kept him alive.
When his guardian is murdered — alongside a vampire that shouldn’t have been there — Shane is pulled into an investigation that doesn’t add up. The deeper he digs, the worse it gets: missing evidence, fractured politics, and something powerful enough to tear through both the living and the undead.
Then the words begin to answer him.
Ancient. Primal. The language of power itself — one that predates the First Shift, one that shouldn’t be spoken at all. And yet, it recognizes him.
As Shane draws closer to the truth, he also draws attention — especially from the Beast Lord of Boston. Ilya Rozanov doesn’t break rules lightly. But for Shane, he might.
Shane has spent years staying out of sight. Now the city is watching, the magic is listening, and whatever he is becoming may be just as dangerous as the thing he’s hunting.
