Summary
The sky was a bright, vibrant blue, mostly clear with the exception of a few fluffy white clouds. The sun was beaming down, bright yellow and contrasting heavily with the sky. He taps his foot against the ground, taking in a few deep breaths. He briefly wonders what it would be like if he were somewhere up there.
He didn’t really believe in heaven and God and Jesus and all that, but he knew it would reassure him if he believed. But he just couldn’t.
If there was a God, they wouldn’t make him feel like this.

“I said I ain’t hungry Darry!” Dally said starting to get irritated that the older boy couldn’t get a hint.
“Well I said you gotta eat something. You ain’t leaving my house till you-“
Luckily he was cut off by the screen door slamming shut. Giving Dally just enough time to grab his jacket from the chair and leave without a word. Now, walking down the path towards the lot he feels something in his pocket “the hell?..” he freezes for a moment, because in his pocket is a bar of chocolate. “Damn you Darry” he mutters before taking a peice of the chocolate and continuing towards the lot.

5+1 story!! Btw this is only my 2nd story and I haven’t read The outsiders in a bit (mostly going off what I remember) so don’t start attacking me if some of this is unrealistic.
