Summary
Canon Divergence where Ricky never shot Izzy, and Stede stayed on the Revenge to Captain with Izzy as (one) of his First Mates. Sort of a character study, where I wanted to put Izzy in Situations and it rather grew a life of its own. This fic is all about hurt/comfort tropes and bonding with Izzy, the crew, Stede, and Ed.

Summary: Canon divergence & extension of S2E6 where Low is intrigued by Izzy, so he torments him alongside Edward and Stede. Main pairings are Izzy/Edward with Steddyhands endgame, and a side helping of Ned/Izzy.
The noncon tag: Not overly explicit, further details in endnote“You’ve been hunting us for a while then....All to defend your honor?” Izzy let his tone radiate how he felt about such obsessiveness.
Low flashed him a grin. “Yes. I’m not one to do things by halves… And from what I heard and saw, neither is Blackbeard’s crew. But I can tell you are not Blackbeard’s any longer. I didn’t even have to fight for this, did I? Your capture, so easy, so boring…” He let his judgment fall on each of them, Izzy for the longest before focusing back on Edward. “I expected better.”
“You’re right,” Bonnet snapped, “We’re not just Blackbeard’s any more. We’re more than that. Ever heard of the Gentleman Pirate?”
He sounded so ridiculously proud of himself and Izzy had to resist rolling his eyes. Not helpful, but there was not much that could stop this mess.

“Xiao Zhuo-daren, let me do this for you,” Zhao Yuanzhou says, his eyes darting to Zhuo Yichen’s mouth and slowly back up, until he looks into the other man’s eyes again, gaze sparkling like precious gems. Zhuo Yichen feels his eyes go wide, with a treacherous blush coming up his face. Now his heart is racing again, but for a whole different reason. Before he can say anything, though, Zhao Yuanzhou hastily adds, “The fear. Let me help you master your… fear,” this time, his gaze drops to Zhuo Yichen’s neckline, leaving an almost burning track as he raises his eyes up back to his face.

What kind of investigation have you been doing all this time?” she casts a glance at Pei Sijing who’s looking a little startled, but the other woman quickly regains her composure, coughing lightly to hide that she, too, is a bit awe-stricken. Ying Lei looks at Zhao Yuanzhou with his mouth open like he has met a vision from a fairy tale or, more likely, from a not entirely appropriate dream.
