Then Rhaenyra shifted in her seat. “You know,” she said, her voice carrying that telltale amusement that meant she was about to say something absurd, “there’s a species of jellyfish—Turritopsis dohrnii—that’s biologically immortal. When threatened, it can revert its cells to an earlier stage and basically start over.”
