Summary
Fall, 201X. Griffin Holloway is a recent high school dropout starting over at community college; gifted but directionless, too much time online, waiting, hoping for the world to end. Ruby Cedar is dual-enrolled from a nearby high school, driven but sheltered, venturing beyond for the first time. Differences grow apparent. She's a reindeer monster from a respected, wealthy family.
