The first thought through her head is fuck Logan has gotten big, the next registers the burning smell in the air, and she’s reminded the smoke alarm is going off, and Logan has, in fact, never learned how to use an oven.
“Get away you idiot!” Oscar pushes him, as she immediately grabs a tea towel and pushes through her apartment to drop the burnt clump onto her balcony. “Logan! What did you even do?! I told you not to touch it!”
“But you said the cake needed 400 degrees.” Logan pouts at her.
Oscar sighs, and rubs her forehead, this idiot, “Fahrenheit… 400 Fahrenheit, my oven runs on Celsius.”

Oscar raises an eyebrow. “Big spender tonight, are we?”
“Got to keep things interesting,” Lando replies, though his voice cracks just enough to betray his nerves.

Max leaned back, stretching out comfortably. “Afraid not. The contract says I’m here until you terminate the agreement. Which, by the way, is only possible under some very specific circumstances. You did want the deluxe package, right?”
“I didn’t want the deluxe anything! I wanted– oh my God. You have to leave.”
“Can’t. Bound by the contract,” Max said, unbothered. “And, really, aren’t you the least bit curious? A life-size Max model – interactive, no less. You won’t find another like me anywhere.”
“I don’t want anything like you anywhere! I want a car! A tiny car!”

Summary
“His name is Leo,” Charles announced proudly, his attention momentarily diverted from his task of polishing silver charms.
Lando crouched down to only look over the till counter with his eyes, making him eye level with the tiny creature, which made something inside of Oscar want to coo at the sight. Oscar quickly composed himself, shoving those feelings into a box in the back of his mind, as Lando was the one to coo, although at Leo and not at him.
Oscar definitely did not wish it was the other way around.
He watched as Lando gently boop’ed the tiny dragon with his finger, the Brit’s face lighting up with amazement as Leo snuggled his head on Lando’s finger. It was adorable.
Oscar wondered for a moment what it would feel like to cart his fingers through Lando’s curls.
